It's shocking that there was 3 blatant penalties and the ref's not even consulted his assistants(which they do if there's doubt) which would mean that he thinks he was 100% right in not giving them, even though he was within 10/15yrds of each one.
I hate Chelsea and their players but to see injustice like that is wrong -

It couldn't have happened to a nicer team.

i think drogba now tops the list of the biggest twats in the world
he's definately up there with George W Jnrhe spends his whole life diving cheating how ironic a couple of bad descisions go against him and he's crying like a freaking baby, what goes around comes around mate
if he had of stood up and tried to score instead of trying to get that penalty it might be a whole different story and after he let the blues down in the last champions league final i would blame chelsea fans for sending him to coventry ( the metophorical coventry not the footie team ! )and terry and ballack and lampard whining SPOILT FUCKING overpaid premadonnas
COME ON BARCAoh and by the way I am not bitter about chelsea luckily hanging on to beat us in the quarters AT ALL !

You're spot on there Dicki, there is definitely a karmic air hanging over SW6 this morning.

quite an event. less of a match, but it was certainly entertaining for the neutrals.
it baffles me why they can't consult the "third umpire" on these things. it seems ridiculous. if cricket, probably the most backwards, archaic and closed minded sport in existance is happy to embrace technology to settle important decisions like that, why can't football?
aaaanyway.

I wonder how many whoppers I'll see in Chelsea shirts today........?

This is a victory for football. YAWN :)
I love the look on fatboys face after their goal went in. Gold. That result could not have happened to a bigger bunch of wankers. I just hope they do a similar thing to United in the final. My boss is a die hard Chelsea fan since 2003. He hasn't said hello yet this morning

I hope that ref NEVER get's to ref a big game again for the sake of any football team!! Chelsea were cheated out of a final!! whinning cry baby Drogba or not, there were other blatant penaltys where he was not involved. Chels can feel very hard done by as they were the better team, creating more chances on the break... barca had 1 shot on goal says it all. But I do feel sorry for Abidal who was sent off! Platini must be a very happy man!!
As for any bitter scousers... see you in next years quarter/semi!!

Says it all about Chelsea 'fans'
How can you be die hard since 2003?? Is he 12yrs old or something?
-
• #2712
Is it fair to say that when Drogba had his first chance to score, instead of trying to do that, he did his usual thing and threw himself to the floor? Didn't see the game so can't comment. But if he did do that then maybe he should try scoring next time? Thats what he's paid for is it not. Then they would be through

Oh but you have... blindly.

• #2715
Funnily enough. That is what my die hard boss said to me. Give him his dues though. He was at the game. He was of the opinion that if Drogba spent less time diving and moaning, they may have got that decisive second goal

It's all a conspiracy I tell thee... twitches violently

I don't get that he's only been supporting them since 2003? Very strange....
-
• #2718
.....the irony of Drogba crying about being cheated
Own
Medicine
Taste
YourFUCK YEAH!
you can't help but feel had that prick stayed on his feet a litle more in his career and wasn't so detestible he might have got the nod for the penalty. but if he insists on going down like he had been shot then he is less likely to get the BoD...
bang on about refs decisions all you like, that was never a red and the handball was ball to hand (but it was harsh)
better team won..... -
• #2719
Drogba did his usual thing of instead of staying on his feet in a good scoring position (that he is quite francly good enough to score from) and fell over.

Well he's dutch. From Amsterdam, been in the country for about 10 years I think, so jumped on the glory wagon when they started winning. Think he supports Ajax originally

better team won.....Which handball you talking about? The Pique one was 100% stonewall pen, no debate to be had.
Anelka, nipped the ball through and it hit his hand which was outsretched, a definite goalscoring opportunity was stopped, if it hadn't've hit his hand the ball would have gone through to where Anelka wanted it to, bang, goal!
Why didn't the assistant flag it, why didn't the ref even consult him? He was 10yrds behind the incident. If he did'nt think it hit his hand then what part of his body did he think it actually hit, a 2ft eyelash!? -

that game was a total joke full of injustice for barca and Chels
a ref has seconds to make a choice I doubt they think about a players rep in those few secs. oh....hang on isn't that drogba yes he dives alot so i wont give him a pen. It's the most ridiculous thing i ever heard! they just interviewed a top ref on sky sports and even he said there were def 2 pens!!
Saying that though... the way Drog and Ballack behaved after was v poor!!

i didn't see the game but when drogba got substituted he had yet another tantrum ( per 5 live commentators )
he had dived and rolled round on the floor for the Xth time, play continued, drogba stayed on the floor rolling around .... hiddink thought right thats it he's possibly injured possibly not but we need 11 players he decided to sub him and get someone on who's willing to put a bit of effort indrogba went straight down the tunnel in disgust and on the way off the pitch he spent a minute shaking everybodies hand telling hiddink not to take him off as he was fine ... no i'm fine i'm not injured don't sub me
2 mins later drogba was walked up the tunnel by one of the coaches on the staff and told to sit in the dugout like a team player ... i dare say he sat there like a spoilt child for the rest of the game
hateful man
yet another moment for the man to be proud of -
• #2725
did you see the possesion stats too
70+% for barc
20-ish percent for chelsea
Amazing to see how no one has called Anelka a cheat yet. Seems to have been forgotten about!
My Christ, I'm still laughing at all of this. This is the funniest thing in football since Gazza's plastic tits.
