Good season at the mo, the most interesting for years. Although I'd be sick as a dog if the RS won it but atleast it'll stop all the hoards of plastic, shirt wearing Chelsea 'fan' twats bleating on down my local

I bet a mate of mine that Hull would go down after they beat Arsenal and Spurs.........I thought their bubble would burst and it would all collapse around them. Hes been taking the piss ever since, but I'm still not convinced they are safe!

What about our other football thread? Are you trying to get us all banned with this non-bike related chatter.
Liverpool are looking stronger and stronger and as long as super-man and my hero Steveie G avoids getting banged up, I really believe we can win it this year!
Come on LIVERPOOL!

Liverpool are gonna run out of steam before long, amazed they've gone so well for so long... Man U are gonna do it again, sadly... I can feel it in my bones...

[whisper] I don't really want to discuss this season otherwise I am convinced we'll get injuries or sell Ashley to Real or in some other way cock up the season and finish 6th again. Still - we were robbed against Arsenal - that really should have been a win. [/whisper]

I keep thinking this, but then they keep proving me wrong. If we win all our remaining home games ( not easy, I know ) then the league will be ours

Football is fun.
You just need a ball and a good pitch.

liverpool due to rafa's rotation policy are stronger in the latter half of the season
robbie keane also scores more goals in the latter half of the season ( well i guess tha isn't a huge amount but .... )
and torres still to come back and show some killer form
as benitez said if we are top at xmas we have an 80% chance of winning the title
i would be interested in seeing his workings out for the maths, but hey i'm with him -

The team that will get the 'Spawniest Cunts Without Actually Playing Decent Football' award will go to Villa
Christ, how much luck can they get? A last min og against Hull last night after Hull murdered them, a flukey deflection at West Ham last week, robbed us after we battered them all game yet had 3 chances all game. Their luck's gotta run out soon -

we could turn this into pista rants about how bad everton get it in the neck.
or for shortness "the bluenose rant thread" -

There's an idea....

For all talk about how they will win the league this year, how ace Stevie Gerrard and Torres are and how the fat waiter is taking them to the next level they needed...

Christ, I thought City fans were bitter, but you take it to a whole new level.
Not an attractive quality.
I've previously been quite neutral about Everton - thanks to you I'm now hoping they lose matches.
What an ambassador. -

my first passion in life ( more so than this forum and my bikes ) ( but only just ) ( so i don't get ostracised )
closest we have been for a long long time
benitez is slowly getting it right, as we can't compete on players with chelsea and man utd and their money bags, it shows he's a class manager gradually improving tinkering manging his way to the title where the other at the top are buying their way to the premiershipdoes anyone actually know what happened with stevie g ? saw pictures of the bar / blood / broken glass ( always a bad sign, as it is usually pushed into someones face )
WHY did he do it ? i can't believe he's in the same league as the tit from newcastle who has been done for gbh a few times now ... oh whats his name ? another scouser ex man city beat up on that dabo chap barton thats it -

b) While I'll grant you, we've had some luck, we've also hit the woodwork bleedin hundreds of times so far this season.
c) Not great football? Going by the official premiership rankings we have the 2nd best keeper, 4th best defender, 2nd and 3rd best midfielders, and 2nd best striker of the season so far. Young, Agbonlahor, Milner - pacey, exciting and scoring more goals than anyone except Liverpool and Chelsea.
d) They're mostly English. -

But your last 4/5 games you've been dull and been outplayed for most of the games but managed to create out of nothing
-
• #48
as hansen says, the sign of a good/great team is playing badly and winning...
-
• #49
pep reina has been the best keeper in the premiership since he arrived
most clean sheets in each of the last three / four seasons
did you see the sky voting over the last few days on the best players of the year
best defender jamie carragher solid reliable injury free ( touch wood )
best midfielder ronaldo had 14% gerrard had over 60% of the vote if you had to fill your midfield with clones of just one player there is NO choice right wing for liverpool and england left wing for england defensive midfielder for england and liverpool attacking midfielder for england and liverpool try and put lampard in these positions / ronaldo NO COMPARISON
strikers being voted on today my guess is torres, best newcomer to the premiership of any forward ever his first season was pretty amazing new league new team 2nd highest scorerAhh i love liverpool

You've got your own thread, use it!
If you own your own boots you can pretty much get a game.
