time to start respecting west brom. not many teams will go to old trafford and keep going forwards trying to win the game until the final whistle like that. be very interesting to see marco's prediction next week.
-
• #21585
I never thought I'd be watching the albion get a draw at old Trafford whilst sitting on a beach in Barbados.I missed going surfing for that but who cares.
Boing boing.
Time for a surf I think now to celebrate. -

haven't seen the match, disputed second goal, but fuck it, top five, inter milan on wednesday and 'Arry putting out fires to keep the league and champions league campaigns running smoothly. wonder how he's going to cope with the arrival of the fa cup.
starting to fear that even in this short space of time we have become too over reliant on vdv, but what the hey... -

Balls... :/
-
• #21596
did chelsea get done like a kipper big man?

utd have an ageing midfield. to replace that kind of quality today you need big money and utd fans must be worried that they are just waiting for something similar to the liverpool debacle to happen in the next 2 years. i trust that fergie can sort it and someone will always be ready to buy utd with big money. i think rooney would be the only player willing to stay if things started to implode though
-
• #21598
if utd, do a liverpool, and the debts become to much, ferguson will leave rather than expend the energy trying to rebuild, some other manager will come in and try and keep winning and be crushed by the weight of expectation, like wilf mcguinness, but obviously on a larger wage..
-
• #21599
players like nani are good enough to score against teams like west brom but they are never going to win you the big prizes like ronaldo did. the fact that utd still play scholes and giggs must be a bit worrying even though they are special. but like madrid, utd will never be in proper financial trouble.

All of the above.
Financially we can't compete with the bigger european clubs (or chelsea/city).
Midfield is, as stated above too old and the best we can hope for this season is the return of Owen Hargreaves.
I'd sell Rooney or play him in the Scholes role. Macheda and Hernandez upfront (they will be the new Cole/York super duo). One or two careful buys in midfield and we'll be fine.
Shit happens. We have had a good run and this will not be the end of Utd. Fergie can still motivate a team, and long may it continue.
Well played West Bromwich Albion.

At this point I'd just like to play my conspiracy card, and blame some injuries (possible STD).
so Pisti up for watching the match tomorrow then?
