Goal of the weekend - Dave Jones for Wolves against Stoke. Boooooof!
If that was Gerrard, Fabregas or Lampard we'd never hear the end of it

Goal of the weekend
doesn't that belong to Markyboy?
-
• #17706
Yeah they really have become a team of whinging, diving tossers.
Such a shame about the Reina gaff. Would have been great to win the first game. But I think we showed spirit and that's a start on last season -

Season starts today.
Arm chair primed.

or indeed if it was a flavour of the month for Long Eaton's finest, Mark Draper, when he played for Aston Villa.

Anyone know who the commentators were on the game yesterday. They were truly awful

• #17711
reina fluff = sunderland beach ball incident
bad start to the season and now lack of confidence -
• #17712
Gettin the excuses in early
-
• #17713
nah we'll still win the title, but just saying fate is already trying real hard to screw up our season

reina fluff = sunderland beach ball incident
bad start to the season and now lack of confidenceNo I disagree. I don't think it will get us down. I think there is a bit more optimism around now
-
• #17715
and how long will that last.....
-
• #17716
Pepe Riena made a thoroughly boring game somewhat enjoyable.
I had a better time watching Leeds just before hand.
Theo Walcott's still retarded, and Liverpool are far from being top table contenders.
Let's wait a see if Woy can pull anything out of the bag, but if Macherano's leaving, there just isn't the squad to play 50 + games and contend...

and how long will that last.....
Until we get beaten by Man City?
-
• #17718
I think Liverpool could beat Man City.
Joe Hart was on top form, but can't do that for ever.
-
• #17719
we'll use our reserves in europe a bit more save the first team for the premiershit
the uefa cup isn't quite up to the standards of the Champions League
perfect for the likes of Aquilani / Babel / Insua / Aurellio -
• #17720
I thought Aqualani was a first team player, and I thought Insua was on his was to Fiorentina?
-
• #17721
was and came back
our left backs are like boomerangs
both got thrown out and both came backalthough i never have that kind of luck when i throw boomerangs
-
• #17722
roy doesn't think aquilani is any good or he would have been in the bench yesterday at least
prancing pony of a fella that aquilani -
• #17723
yeah he is a little fragile. Seems the sort that spends more time worrying about his hair than his football.
They weren't like that in my day.... etc......etc.............. -
• #17724
he might harden up or he may just get sold back to italy where that kind of player thrives for 50% of his purchase price
-
• #17725
That's a bit fair weather isn't it.
Last season it was all When he's fit this, and when he's fit that.
So now you realise Aqualani isn't all that, and was another woeful Benitez signing???
always saw him as a drakkar noir or farenheit kind of fella...
