There's a good book about it written by one of the producers, Golazzo I think it's called.

If it isn't printed on pink paper they missed a trick.

Ha. I was trying to learn Italian a few years back, used to try to read the Corriere dello Sport for practice

Those palms down 'don't celebrate' celebrations annoy me. Just don't celebrate.

Imagine travelling to Ireland to watch England and singing God Save the King. They should have their passports seized.

Terrible 2nd half. The new tiny fella looks like a school kid playing with adults.

Have we had this one yet? Visiting coach enters the pitch to stop a breakaway:

Is that a recent one? Pretty sure I've seen a near identical incident, just going the other way.

I’d love it ….. love it …. If Carsley was wearing a false nose and glasses when the camera panned to him during the national anthem …..
probs not best for career opportunities … but …. -

disappointing game today, was expecting a continuation of the perfect start but got that horrible performance, mo salah looked like he'd never passed a ball before, he would have missed a barn door from 4 yards away. haven't seen him that poor in a long time. first half we looked in control but just couldn't beat the forest defensive block then looked a bit toothless 2nd half, 1st win for forest at anfield since '69.
lets hope tuesdays champions league game can lift the gloom.

Today aside, Salah has been excellent so far. But he seemed to be talking as if he’d had enough, in the run up to the season starting.

Maybe the internationals contributed......lost his rhythm?
-
• #171373
No, he was talking like he really wanted a new contract.
-

Ha yeh, fair observation!
But he was always going to get one, so I don’t personally think it needed coy chat from him to secure a few more years.

he got man of the match 2 or maybe 3 times ( i forget which ) on this is anfield in the first 3 games of the season. today he was just off the pace.
he's stated he wants a new contract and negotiations have begun. but i'm guessing he won't be getting the £350k - ish per week he's currently on. he'll still score a boat load this season thoughha, at least everton are cheering up this slightly gloomy saturday. loosing after being 2-0 up twice this season already

Football Italia started 30 years ago, glorious TV. Especially James Richardson on Gazzetta Football Italia on Saturday mornings.
