It’ll only be another 13 years before United challenge, don’t fret.

Let's hope it's 26.

2 more points off Everton in the making-it-up-as-they-go-along PSR rules.

In a world where the game isn't truly fucked, City will be playing Evostick next season.
-

Yup. We’ve lost a tonne more money than the last breach which incurred 10 points, so we should realistically get at least 10 more taken off us. Can’t help but feel they don’t really have a framework for applying points deductions. Might as well get in Nicky Campbell and Carol Smiley and spin the wheel of fortune. Least it would be entertaining.
Edit: actually read the report after glancing at the headline at work. Actually haven’t breached the level by anywhere near as much as I thought.

all the rich clubs want a vote on a " luxury tax " rather than points deduction going forward
keep appealing the decisions like city until this gets voted in and you won't lose any points, just make a payment to the football hierarchy for the oversights your accountants made in the past
problem solved ... unless you are a well run club with a good business model

Like real laws where you can get away with anything if you can afford the lawyers fees. (And bribes)

PSR have just beaten Derby's record points haul.

Surely the whole points deduction thing could be made much easier. All clubs have to post results by x date, they are then independently audited to check for no funny business (City, Chelsea, Newcastle etc).
Then a sliding scale of points per £ loss over. eg £5m = -2 points, £10m = -4 points, £20m = -10 points or whatever, but getting more severe the bigger the breach. All clear up front, no appeals.
All deductions applied after the winter break giving us a mid-season bonus points deduction round. -

You forgot forced transfers.
If you are deducted x points then your best player gets sold at the price you said you paid, thus balancing your books.
If your books don't balance after this sale, you have more points deducted/players sold. -

It really is skewed towards to already rich/successful clubs since PSR was set as it is. How the hell are smaller clubs supposed to catch up, or clubs that come up after not being in the Premier league before for a while supposed to stay up if they can't spend? Can't see how Ipswich can survive if they go up, for example.

Kieran McKenna will have a plan.
It will involve someone we signed from Fleetwood or Salford becoming one of the league's most consistently impressive players.

How long before we get CBAs, salary caps and luxury taxes in the PL?
-
• #168266
Salary cap can’t come soon enough in football.

It’s pretty clear that the current system is broken beyond repair.

Why is the Met Office re-tweeting old Matt Le Tissier then?

its a goalfest in the champions league tonight

City really missing KdB, Foden has barely got in the game. Rodri looking unusually sloppy. Real so lethal on the counter, Rodrygo is having a great game.

There's a female player. Also from Jersey but no relation.
I think actually Liverpool have had not a lot of luck on been on the shitty side of quite a few VAR decisions.
