  • Should certainly be introduced but players (and clubs) don't help themselves here, particularly in the Premier League. Every match you'll see multiple players feigning a head injury, they've got to take some responsibility too.

  • I'm not a football person but the inlaws are so, can anyone recommend a good (preferably real ale) pub to watch Man City Everton tomorrow in central / SW London? On the Man City side if that matters

  • Isn't that Flea, Stephen Merchant and Bob Odenkirk?

  • el_presidente in reply to @Tonts

don't worry, I am sure VAR will quickly and efficiently resolve any grey areas

grey card for the grey areas ?

  • Qatar won the asian cup 3-1, 3 pens they got in the final.

  • Looks like Leverkusen are putting the hurt on Kane and Co.

  • Tactical masterclass from Alonso. I think Bayern only had one shot on goal.

  • Just watched the highlights. Dier looked significantly off the pace. How do BM not have a better fit centre back?

  • They have Kim and Upamecano, but for some reason Tuchel decided to play three at the back. Not sure how Dier stayed on when they were chasing the game and went to four at the back.

  • Congratulations to Sheffield United on overhauling Derby's points record.

  • Worst ever in the premier,
    You’ll never be that
    You’ll neeeevvvver beeeee thaaaaat

  • Our only goals any time we were in the PL was:

    1. Beat Derby’s point record
    2. Stay up
  • You don’t want to do that
You don’t want to do thaaaaaaat
    Worst in the premier
You don’t want to do that

  • Half time can’t come quickly enough for West Ham

  • Fire drill at the London Stadium, thoughts and prayers

  • well i'm convinced, can we just hand arsenal the league title now ?

  • Quite an entertaining afternoon of continental football for our family.
We got to see Keita* score, and I reckon that's the first (and possibly only) time in my life I've seen a physio get a yellow card for time wasting.

Silla CF started well, and took the lead through Keita, but they conceded twice in the last 15 minutes or so, and stay rooted to the bottom of regional group 6 in the 5th tier of Spanish football.

Many lots, and the kids enjoyed all the snacks.

    *Keita Junior Karamokoba, not Naby.

  • Pleased for Cote D’Ivoire … mainly their fans …. bit of a nerve wracking final , but good game .. they came back well from great Nigerian captains header
Shame Infantino is involved - cunt.
Oh , and best shirts for Nigeria…

  • Nigeria always have banging shirts. Good win for the hosts. Haller key in semi and final.

  • Since The Mighty Villa beat Arsenal at the back end of last year they’ve been on a mighty slump, even results at home have dropped off.

Still completely exceeding expectations but it looks more like a battle for 5th/6th now rather than a genuine Top 4 tilt.

    It’s the hope that kills….

  • Dat Lerma strike! 😲

  • Four excellent goals in that game

  • Was a good performance and would have won another day (also ref was shocking, but that's par for these days). Down to 4th and 5th centre backs and now a 3rd ACL injury this season is leaving us pretty light. Let's hope Pau is back this week. Have a winnable run now to get things back on track.
