CR78 conversion rate on free kicks begs the question… really? when Portugal have better options.. opposition must be quaking in their socks, as he smashes his kick straight at the Swiss wall..

Both there conversion rates at free kicks are not great. This wc has some great underlying stories the Messi v Ron one could play out in a final wich could be quite interesting. Esp if Ron is a super sub.

Thing is, free kicks don't have amazing conversion rates in general:

Most of the higher conversion rates come from samples which aren't statistically significant. I'd also guess that many of the starrier players have worse rates because they insist on shooting from positions where the chance just isn't realistically on.

What do we think - Brazil and Portugal should go through. France probably edge it over England due to Mbappe, but could go either way. Netherlands to just get past Argentina?

Argentina to beat Holland and Brazil beat Croatia. Hard to say who will win that Semi but whichever one does will beat England in the Final.
