yep plus one for the Ndombele goal. it's about the rub of the green for that kind of goal to even be a possibility. but seeing the possibility and executing to perfection shows a guy who is finally starting to deliver on his early promise
not on here much but I like to think Corndog would have especially enjoyed it

indeed, in the meantime I’m gonna marvel at our wonder kid aka the croydon de bruyne..

cool. not seen much of the lad yet but glad he is breaking through. twinned with Saka and Martinelli there is a bit of hope in the young players at arsenal.
thought Cedric Soares had a good game last night. and Tierney on the other side looks ace too. you guys could aim for top 6 next season ;-)

• #155307
hopefully top six.. next season, lol

It was a great goal but do we think he meant it?
I hope so but I think he was trying to get it back across the box...
-
• #155309
Nope - flukey cross attempt.

In other news, it seems like we might finally have a match on tomorrow. It's been a while.
Going to be an intense couple of weeks.Still amazed that we are 11th with 3/4 games in hand.
-
• #155311
Aye, I thought it was an attempt to flick the ball back across the box.
-
• #155312
Nope, trying to return it into the box like you say.
The commentator kept saying something like ‘he’s seen the keeper off his line’, when in fact he doesn’t look at the keeper once. -

Clapton CFC nearly have the funds to put a new roof on what will be their bar/clubhouse.
I know a few of you have been down to games at the OSD or the Stray Dog - please put in a bit of cash if you can and help get the appeal over the line!

• #155314
he’s seen the keeper off his line
Yeah - complete bollocks. The slow mo replay showed nothing.
Still a nice goal but definitely didn't mean it. -
• #155316
From about 2 minutes.
-
• #155317
oh yesss
-
• #155318
now will CHO start the game tonight ? Chelsea have to improve a great deal to get a result against the foxes tonight
-
• #155319
i thought he meant it. if he didn't it's not a great goal. it is actually a shit cross. but I have to say I thought he meant it. unlike that saka goal a few weeks ago.

its all very pulis mk ii . How and why we have ended up with this clown at Albion only those in the board room will know. To put the cherry on Sam's big fat cake, he has opened his gob about breaking prem league rules with his first signing.

• #155321
That is very amateur hour.
-
• #155322
I guess Lampard has to resign once Arsenal catch Chelsea up in the league right?
-
• #155323
That was a good performance By Leicester.
Chelsea have lost all confidence, lots of arm flapping scared to take risks. Only once was there any play with zip and quickness and it lead to the non pen.Fofana looks a real talent

Not the result I was rooting for to wake up to.
At least we won the possession stats.

When Chelsea came to goodison a month or two back and got snuffed out by Ancelotti’s “4 centre halfs” tactical genius they were the form team (unbeaten in 18 or something). What’s been their record since then? They’ve slumped a fair bit.
Ndombele’s goal was class..
