Hate to agree with you but you’re right. Our defence has been an absolute travesty all season and it’s the one area that was the same as last season for us. Lampard got a pass for integrating a lot of young players but the complete disregard for coaching defence is almost criminal if you ask me. Our transfer activity doesn’t really address this either. There’s only so much you can blame Kepa for.

The only difference at the back is Luiz and we all know what a season he has had this year.

Rather than tempting fate, I was waiting until the end of the season to make the comment that I thought that refereeing during lockdown had been considerably better than usual. Yes there had been one or two noticeable errors but overall, the lack of crowd influence appeared to have allowed referees to perform much better.
