Villa got tonked 6-1 by Brighton earlier so seems to be pretty close to reality.

This is good, although I'm not convinced the 6 year old drew the original.

Every Liverpool fan's worst nightmare has happened in the Netherlands.
It would make my day if the same happens here. The bleating will continue for decades.

Haven't uefa said its up to the premier League to decide final standings? So some people will get relegated, Liverpool will still win 'some kind' of league.
They did beat everyone, so they are officially the best... -
• #153011
Do you think the clubs that are relegated will sit quietly and accept that when it means a massive loss in income?
Not a chance.
-
• #153012
Nope, but that's the same with the clubs at the top of the championship as well - at the end of the day (pro football phrase) what can they actually do about it?
-
• #153013
They could promote the clubs in the automatic promotion spots and have no relegation.
Then get each of the leagues back to the normal numbers over the next few years (i.e. 4 relegated from the Premiership for the next 2 years with 3 clubs coming up from the Championship).
Obviously that pushes the problem down to the clubs in and around the playoff places.
It also adds 4 more games to the Premier League season.

Michael O’Neill quietly leaving NI is sad, if completely inevitable. I’d long been reconciled to never reaching a major championship again when he took over, especially not as group winners. The win over Ukraine in Lyon that got us out of the group is my favourite day in football.
That he managed all of this with a squad that was valued at £23m going into the tournament, most of which was Johnny Evans, is remarkable. One of the most unsung managerial stories of modern times.

But can he do it on a cold Tuesday night in Stoke?

Spotted some twat with a Florist sticker on his rear windscreen today, made me think of you... 🖤
Long way from home... Loads of midlands folk down here, my three closest neighbours were either born or have parents from there... It's a fucking nightmare...

It's good to know you have to move 10,000 miles away for this to be considered socially acceptable.

Even then it probably still isn't, just a lot less embarrassing.
