VAR was called and no peno given. Think its more the interpretation of the handball rule...don't understand it.

They ran through the handball rules (ridiculous as they are) on MOTD and it seemed pretty clear that it was. The VAR just bottled it for me.
Seems that they haven't really thought through how it's meant to work. Need some version of Umpire's call in cricket IMO if there is still some element of subjectivity.

I think the refereeing was pretty dogshit to be honest at the Emirates. Ref was card happy, missed decisions, made poor ones generally and missed the handballs. I much prefer the referees that officiate in European games.

Would be nice to see a bigger pool of refs in the Prem as well as females and more from diverse communities. Rotate and repeat seems to be the call of the Prem.
