Seriously. Who would want Pep as their other half? I thought I could be an overbearing, micro manager, coasters on the wooden work top, don't use a knife on there, who wrote on the shelving unit, what the fuck, it's fucking porridge, what the fuck are you doing to it, have you turned the oven off, type. But Jesus. He made me embarrassed. And hopefully enabled me to become a better person by being less like him.

Apparently, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going to be named full time manager, at the end of the season

Is Sarri really in trouble? Does this sort of battering really make it difficult for him to carry on.

• #148835
it's more about not making top 4. I would think that is a target set by the powers that be. Personally like to see 1 more season after being safe from relegation.

Chelsea to win 7-0 at Malmo
then lose 8-0 to United

Fingers crossed the Malmo match is being postponed.

Jonny, we ought to lose to Malmo and beat ManU. The sequence is that we lose away games and win home ones.
-
• #148839
That said, I can see us losing 10-0 at Wembley.

That'll only be €100k/week soon.

Come in Dier, your time is up.

Fair enough.
I hope he doesn't get too much stick. Irish fans have got to be honest; playing alongside Kane and Rashford probably is more appealing than Jon Walters and Shane Long.
Plenty of other players with mixed heritage and affinity to somewhere we have a shameful colonial history with have made themselves at home in the England squad.
Let's be honest though, it was the band that swung it.

Also, Derby, fuck off and stop kicking us while we're down. No one likes a bully.

How the fuck Madrid won that is beyond me

Fucking amazing result after the turgid first half we put in.
Controlled possession, misplaced passes, not many chances created but the press was effective and we nullified Dortmund apart from one header which Lloris made a Banks like save to keep us at 0-0, (on a Gordon banks note was interesting to be a part of a minutes silence which spontaneously became 40s of applause).Turned it around in the second half, great counter down the left with verts throwing in a great cross for son to finish with a glorious touch volley . Then verts got on the score sheet with his own goal on the end of a cross from aurier who had an up and down match, despite verts heroics we missed rose on the left.
Then llorente with a goal from his third and last touch of the match. Dortmund support that had been vociferous and boisterously loud upto that point, was silenced. Before the match was willing to take 1-1 or 2-1 to us, didn’t think we’d come away with a 3-0 win. Got me thinking of the next round and who we could face. Don’t want to get to far ahead of myself though.
Even got out of Wembley and down Wembley way whilst avoiding the kettling that goes on.
Good night..

@cornelius_blackfoot.
Andrew, if youre going regularly to Wembley let me know as I'm one of the few happy people now I'm resident in west London so Wembley is a breeze for me. Would be nice to meet up.Great report on last night as it was exactly how it happened. I was sat above the Dortmund fans and if the revamped White Hart Lane gives half that atmosphere and noise, they generated, it will be awesome.
You looked far better today than I expected you to, but there was no end product at all - the first shot I remember Krul saving was on 79mins.
I think it's becoming more obvious how much Culverhouse and Karsa bring/brought to Lambert's successes. Can't believe you gave him a 3.5yr contract, that's an expensive bill if it doesn't work out...
Be interesting to see how you do in League One, I'm not sure you've got the quality to get straight back out but get the first home and away wins out of the way and ride on the wave.
