Ok, my last post was baiting, but serious question here - you’ve been hearing anti-Semitic chants at every game for 40 years? That’s a real, actual shock. How have you felt to hear that every game, and have you ever tried to challenge it? If so, how and what happened? Seriously interested, not looking to make any points.

It is not just Chelsea but Arsenal and Tottenham and probably West Ham too. The use of the "y-word" in reference to Tottenham is pretty much the limit of it although back in the 1970s and 1980s it was more prevalent and probably worse. Certainly Arsenal had a very nasty song about Auchwitz.
I have challenged peple. Tere was someone who sat next to me for years. One day he went into a rant about "y**s". I challenged him and asked if he was referring to tottenham and if he was why not just say so. He told me he hated Jewish people. I pointed out that Abramovich was Jewish. He was shocked. others around us confirmed that that was the case. He left and never came back. His seat was empty for the rest of the season.
Around where i sit there is not so much organised chanting and so the issue is not around us but more in the MHL.
And, yes, I have reported racist remarks to the club as well and they were acted upon. I have reported homophobic remarks to Kick It Out and I was ignored.

Cheers for the various suggestions, in previous years I've opted for Kilburn but do prefer walking distance if possible.
Kahrai King was a possible for post-match, although a pre-match curry did no harm at West Brom last season (admittedly also had a post-match curry that day).

I see Chelsea are away at Brighton this weekend. That should give them a perfect opportunity to practice homophobic chants and go for a triple crown of abuse.

Sorry, the name calling was out of order. But you seem to be taking some amount of glee in all this crap. It's sad and embarrassing not just for English football, but our entire country. And it's naive to assume that your club couldn't be caught up in the same mess, no?

I agree with your statement @bikes_knob, being a gooner I see our fair share of haters..
And WornCleat is right, every club attracts an element of idiots. -

Can't we all just get along and share some common ground? Sergio Ramos is a cunt, Stevenage is a shithole, Mourinho is a very stable genius, etc.

All one way traffic but never really looked scoring. We were solid at the back and I think Hart had maybe one save to make.
We had a gameplan that involved defending, the only chance of us scoring was a set piece, and it nearly got a point. Bit of a shit "homer" ref but ultimately made no difference to this game.
Son coming on gave us some problems, he is so dangerous. Spurs just seem to keep winning when they're not looking great.
Weird atmosphere, almost like a pre-season friendly it was all so empty

Because Liverpool supporters would never chant homophobic abuse would they?
