Spurs taken the "we need concentrate at the end of the match" advice from the Sherooch to heart

Arrrrrgghhhhh!
Still in with a chance. -
• #147454
Huge win for Tottenham.
Should be enough to ensure that they commit resources to the improbable and, in so doing divert them from the league.

Klopp must take full responsibility for that defeat. Why on earth did he disrupt a so far magnificent defense by playing Matip the donkey? Our next game is at home to the bottom club on Sunday. WTF was he thinking.
We now need to win against Napoli at home and get a draw against Cities corruption specialist stablemates in Paris. Why oh why do we make it so hard on ourselves? -

Derby didn't play in Europe last night.
Neither did Forest.
Or Villa.Wait.

joint top sounds just as good, especially after last night -
• #147463
Um but we are second though.
If we were third or 'joint second' after all the games we'd be playing on Thursdays with the other donkeys. -
• #147464
I see you're currently 'joint second' in the Premiershit as well...
-
• #147465
Yup, they're now joint second on points difference.
Or third as most people call it.
-
• #147466
Or goal difference, as most people call it.

I'm guessing they didn't have the correct table sorting algorithm associated with those tables and just had the default (PTS > GD > GF > Alphabetical).
Liverpool are below Napoli as they're both on 6 points but the first tiebreaker for teams on the same points is points in head-to-head games (and Napoli won their only encounter in the group stage 1-0, so they go above Liverpool).
The CL tiebreakers for this season are:-
- Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- Goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- Away goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- If more than two teams are tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams are still tied, all head-to-head criteria above are reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams;
- Goal difference in all group matches;
- Goals scored in all group matches;
- Away goals scored in all group matches;
- Wins in all group matches;
- Away wins in all group matches;
- Disciplinary points (red card = 3 points, yellow card = 1 point, expulsion for two yellow cards in one match = 3 points);
- UEFA club coefficient.
(For a previous website I had to write the table sorting algorithms, they get pretty complex for something that isn't just as simple as PTS > GD > GF > Alphabetical. And more annoying they tend to change slightly every year...)
- Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams;

You’ve got a short/selective memory.
Offended by everything, ashamed by nothing.

• #147474
It’s selective, not short. He can still remember Liverpool winning the League.

Yawn. They take it to the next level
Was that another one of those famous European nights?
