playing the ball so much more quickly to get forward from Conte / Jose . i know it Cardiff who have come up this season but last season I really think after going 1 down it would have been more of a struggle.
still look suspect at the back but it will come.
was gutted RLC was injured as he would have got a chance today after kovatich went off -

Kante = x 2

• #146704
Lol.
Has there ever been a season where 3 teams win the first 5 games? -

oooofff

And Clapton CFC won 2-1 away to Ealing
1/1

I snuck into the squad in the end but didn't get a game.
We won without playing well, which I believe means we are showing the form of champions.
CB was one area we could have been stronger, and I had the hour long drive home with the manager to try to persuade him to trust me next weekend.
Fingers crossed.

firminio lucky not to have suffered a nasty eye injury after the jose
mourihno-esque eye gouging incident yesterday ( could possibly have been a flailing arm )
it looked like his eyeball was bleeding when he left the pitch yesterday
given the all clear today -
• #146709
Bleeding from the eyeball- no thanks.
-
• #146710
Nasty. No match report yet.
-
• #146711
Quite clearly deliberate. It's a shame the impotent FA don't throw the book at Spurs. They have a recent history of unpunished horror tackles and general nastiness. Along with the new stadium omnishambles, I think they should be relegated a few divisions.

The Daily Fail, nice...

• #146713
Dunno what paper it's from. Got it from BBC sport

So. Frank off.
Firmino ow.
Spurs shit?
Smalling not good enough for England?
City thinking the opposition?
Chelsea resurgent.
Arsenal one swing of the boot to win? -
• #146715
This is undoubtedly correct.
-
• #146716
So is that Fat Frank gone then? Who will take over? Jody? Presumably he has been managing all along with Frank just there for press conferences and official abuse.
-
• #146717
Chelsea resurgent.
Hardly resurgent. A narrow win after trailing for much of the game to a team who hasn’t won yet this season. We are yet to play a decent opponent.
Liverpool’s to loose.

Hazard looks in incredible form, must be great to watch in person too.
It seems almost like he could beat every team single handed. Looks like he's really enjoying himself! -
• #146719
I think he means off as in sent off, I don't think he's quit or been fired.
-
• #146720
Beginning of the slippery slope. Frustration with officials to compensate for inadequacies.
-

Sarri’s handling of Hazard has been interesting. Kept him back for the first games of the season to allow him to recover from the World Cup. Now giving him the scope to focus on attack, unlike the Mourinho strategy of tracking back first and foremost. As Sarri’s systems are developed, he could have a massive season. Mind you, every other team will employ rotational fouling on him and so avoiding injury will be key.
-
• #146722
rotational fouling
I find inverted fouling works better.
-
• #146723
Isn’t “inverted fouling” when you use a chicken instead of a gerbil?
-
• #146724
No I think that is feltching
-
• #146725
Apparently not:

Add that to the list of things that you never wanted to know about just above "figging".
