I don't think I've seen England control the ball in midfield for the last half hour. So many lost long balls from Pickford. Croatia completely dominating possession. England will do well to hang on to penalties.

And apart from that late free kick, what other attacking set pieces have England had? Sort of takes away our main threat.

Why is Henderson’s first thought when the ball pings to him from one of the back three is to play it back rather than put his foot on it, turn and play forward. Worried about getting caught in possession.

Quality dive

This England team plays with its balls and heart on their sleeves as well as trying to use their heads. Sure they make mistakes but this is everything we ever asked of previous squads
