Mine too, apart from the accurate passing bit.

I wish. My tactic was to run around and make a nuisance of myself until someone got a reducer on me.
Maybe miss some easy chances.

Sales of Croatian t-shirts have apparently been selling out in Scotland.
-
• #145185
Scottish fans surprising no one, next they'll want to come to London and expose themselves in the fountains in Trafalgar Square.
I watched the England-Argentina 1998 game in a pub in Glasgow surrounded by Argentinian shirts. It's a weird way to get your rocks off...

Saw a great video the other day of a scotsman on the sofa watching the Ingerlund game in a Colombia shirt... Which he then removes at the sound of the final whistle to reveal a Croatia shirt... I did a lol...

Scotland? They still play international football?
-
• #145188
I've just finished a 13hr shift, haven't managed to watch the bloody France/Belgium semi... I'm about to go to bed, won't be watching the Ingerlund game so please don't take my silence as anything apart from me having a kip... #cornedbeef #comeontim

Too right, they're only 4 places below Congo DR in the FIFA rankings.

Yarmolenko to West Ham could be a pwopa naughty signing.

Yarmalenko
He was very highly rated 4-5 years ago and I know Spurs were repeatedly linked. England also played Ukraine repeatedly over 2-3 years (quals and championships) and he seemed to trouble us so no surprise I was more aware of him then and as I don't follow European football closely enough to judge but seems he's been spoken of a lot less in recent seasons. -

Expensive too at today's replica prices.

We're going to fuck this tonight, right?
-
• #145194
3 Lions, England expects, it's coming home... We are at the top of the roller-coaster, of course we're going to fuck it up, but let's enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Absolutely not. We're not good enough to under-perform; we will perform to our potential and that'll either be good enough or not. I think this team either performs or over-performs. I'm pleased at the 'much lower than usual' number of "well, we won't beat Croatia" (apart from those who say it to lower their crippling disappointment if we do lose) sayers, because, of course we may well win.

I've given up making predictions for this World Cup.
England have a good chance, but Croatia are a strong team. I can see it being a tense and cagey game.
-
• #145197
The bookies seem to be backing England. Which is a pleasant surprise.
I'd love it to end on a Jonny shootout. As long as we win it.

oi talk about your own teams / central defenders
vvd was a much needed addition to the team, he's brought us a touch of class at the back, well worth the money in my opinion, our best defender since carra / hyppia, you pay large for world class players these days
are there many better central defenders than him in the premiershit ?he could become capt and a liverpool legend if barca don't come calling, £75mn (?) not my money and for £80mn we could have had pogba, i know which player most people would have in their team

Bookies odds reflect the bets being placed, I’d imagine their Croatian (and Scottish) equivalents have Croatia as favourites.
An omen - the only Croatian in this year’s Tour crashed out today.

Omen was a club in Frankfurt.
