Wasn't he a nasty little racist?
I’ve never heard any allegations about him being racist and given who some of his friends are, I would find it surprising. Nothing comes up on a google search. But then, you probably know better.
He was involved in the Winchester Club incident and acquitted. He was one of the players in a Heathrow bar after 9/11 where some apparently grieving Americans were drinking. He was, while at Leeds accused of rape but no charges were brought as the CPS said there was no realistic prospect of a conviction. Since then he appears to have behaved. Nothing racist as far as I can find.

Ahh sorry my bad. No racism but just the standard drink driving, allegations of rape and drunken disorderly.
He sounds ideal for coaching material -

The wonderful world of Mike; a world without redemption.

I should add, that I was pleased when Morris left Chelsea for Leeds. I didn't like him. I thought him a bad influence on younger players. I was unsurprised by the allegations made against him at Leeds.
I was surprised by his return to Chelsea. I have been very pleasantly surprised by every aspect of his performance since his return. As someone pointed out to me, he is in an ideal position to tell young players about the pitfalls that face them and the consequences that can ensue.
He comes from a really rough background; one that makes John Terry's look positively middle class. He had talent which he never quite realised but which a lot of people recognised. He seems to have grown up well.

Bielsa to Leeds? He'll either last a two weeks or two months. Or a year, if he's successful.

Like you was happy to see him leave to Leeds as at that time he was just a bad influence in the club. didn't like him and was just a nasty little twat.
I have been v surprised at his reemergence as youth team coach. would be a good in-depth interview to hear his side of things on how and why he has turned things around. I had him down to dropping out of football and falling in to bad things. -

Yeah, but the Seluk/Yaya stuff is even better - one's calling Pep a racist, the other's threatening him with 'African curses'.

Used not to like Neville Southall. Loved it when he was sent off at Stamford Bridge.
Now I really admire him.
Funny how perceptions can change.

No wonder he was fucking ace as a keeper.
Smaller objects just moved towards him.probably explains where Tony cottee is now.

Excellent. Lose playoff final, captain leaves, 5 loanees leave, due to ffp likely to have to sell best player for cut price, CEO suspended and club threatened with administration for non payment of £4m tax bill.
