I would have had those off you Clive, and brought my Arsenal supporting son with me, but Alfie is playing football in a proper stadium himself tonight. Instead, I'm taking my other, more sensible and Leicester supporting son to Selhurst Park for an end-of-season dead rubber tomorrow.

Mark
There may well be tickets available from Arsenal for the second leg on Monday. Mine were £4 for that match. Kids maybe less.

Feel for you. Was tense in our house last year.

I know, Lola had them last year too! This year seems worse - nothing in the bank from course work, so all down to exams. Spanish oral today, which he tells me went well...

Pochettino has gone all "leave Harry alone" about the FA Cup tweet from last weekend.
The poor little sausage was very upset about it, apparently, and should be wrapped up in cotton wool and protected from all the bad words.
Sorry but there's no way Kane can actually be that sensitive and still have made it as a footballer, and Pochettino does neither himself or Kane any favours with this sort of general bedwetting.

Seems like he's fine with Twitter when it comes to dubious goals...

I don't know why I'm so keen for Fulham to go up but I'm pleased that they've taken another step.
Fuck Colin, come on Hull.
-
• #142665
Because no-one hates Fulham. I've been a few times. Its great.
My wife's Uncle is a Chelsea fan (season ticket holder for about 40 years) and even he likes them. I suspect the Fulham-Chelsea rivalry is a very one way thing.
Also I dislike Chelsea but I like my wife's uncle. Its a paradox. But it makes family gatherings more fun as I can talk football with someone.

I went to Craven Cottage earlier this season and watched them beat us 4-1. But they fully deserved it, played excellent football, and though the fans were quiet the ones I walked back to the train with talked about football the entire time and no one tried to give it the big 'un about wearing away colours.
I've really liked the QPR fans I've come across too, but I don't really have any affection for them as a club.
Maybe it's a posh West London thing that somehow just doesn't apply to Chelsea. I'll go to Griffin Park next year and report back.

Griffin Park is ace. I've been a few times. Pub on each corner! It'll be a shame when its gone.
Fans are friendly enough. Its not posh though.

• #142668
I tend to assume all of West London is.

Liverpool Stoke on Sky One for anyone who doesn't have the sports channels.

Franchise FC get relegated, will start next season below AFC Wimbledon.
Large helping of Schadenfreude, table 3 thanks. -
• #142674
Hopefully they'll slide into obscurity and then the club franchise will be sold off to some shit town without a league team and their fans will realise they have no souls.

Inter v Juve is ridiculous.
0-1 Juve
Red card Inter
1-1
2-1
2-2
2-3 in the 89th minute.I suppose this is the benefit of match fixing, you get to write the script for really good matches.
Live football in a proper stadium.
