Have to say the last few days of European football have been absolutely fucking immense. After the first legs almost every tie looked sewn up.

I'm glad Marseille went through against MK Dons.

I watched the first leg in France last week (not in Marseille) and OM looked very poor.

I know it’s easy to hate on RBL but the comparison to MK Dons doesn’t really stand up does it. It’s not like they bought Dynamo Dresden and relocated them to Leipzig.

Payet’s goal looks better the more you watch it. Sitting in a bar, avoiding the uber surge, and they’ve got Europa league highlights on the tv. And payet’s stepover, shift to his right foot and curl in with the outside of his right foot when it would have been easier to hit it with his left.

Also it’s really fucking difficult to film anything at a football match, as the lens doesn’t in anyway shape or form make it look like the way you see it. Got to zoom in too much and then you get a shit load of camera shake!
