this var stuff is a load of bollocks
-
• #140728
Completely agree.

Referees didn't have the balls to make decisions before VAR came along. Now they're going to pussy out 20 times a game.
Complete joke.
Also Andre Mariner is the VAR ref. He's a Villa fan who gave Chelsea a joke penalty against us and hasn't reffed us since. Now he's making decisions without any oversight in a room somewhere. Fuck that.

it just doesn't feel natural in the game, it's saved us twice and i wasn't really bothered the decisions changed, football is an all in the moment sport, it's heart in mouth stuff, it's not 22 players plus the referee watching a tv screen on the side of the pitch for 2 minutes

• #140731
Agreed.
It's ruined our goal celebrations for fans in the stadium and watching at home.
-
• #140732
so hot and cold
we beat the top team then lose two in a row to the bottom two
so infuriating -
• #140733
Boing boing

So WBA are the second best team in the country now?
-
• #140735
Pretty sure that's how it works
-
• #140736
And there goes Liverpool's hopes of a trophy for another season.
-
• #140737
Ooops, sorry forgot about the fourth place trophy. They're still in with a chance of that, right?
-
• #140738
Proud to be a baggie. Flushing the pulis years away.
Hoping Tim actually has a enjoyable drive up to the next game full of hope -
• #140739
Southampton on Saturday... Actually looking forward to it.
Man city away first. They lost to Liverpool so pretty sure the three points are in the bag.
-
• #140740
We are technically in second which has recently been proven to be a banana skin in itself . Chuffed that you actually have something to look forward to fella

• #140743
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
-
• #140744
That's dangerous. It's the hope that kills you.
-
• #140745
good game from Batshuayi esp in the 2nd half, he has done well in the last few games but still dont think its enough for him to get a regular place from Conte. Hope we keep hold of him though as there is potential there...for the next manager as conte is out at the end of the season, or so we have been told by the press

Didn't get to see the game on Saturday as was out with the kids but it seems like 75million worth of defender has really helped shore up the defense. It's also refreshing to see that after a shaky start we are back to our annual January capitulation. A defeat midweek will see us approach peak bust. Not a single victory since we became the second best team in the country. Let's hope it continues in the true LFC fashion.

He'll be gone in the summer, it's the reason the club have capitulated over signings... Who's in next, Simeone? Then we can get Monsta back...

• #140748
Luis Enrique from barca is one whisper,
Sarri from Napoli would be fun as would Tuchel. I like Conte he has done good work from when he joined. -
• #140749
In the last three games, Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius faced 8 shots and conceded 7 goals.

I love him but word is the club aren't happy, he wants more control and they won't give it to him, everyone's fucked off with the situation... It's the reason Pep didn't come to us...
glad our £75mn defender has sorted out the defensive issues
