Some people have very short memories

I remember going to Everton the season before Abramovich.

We won 3-1 having beaten Everton convincingly in a cup a week or so before.

The Gronkjaer goal at the very end of a game when Everton has been attacking for most of the second half was wonderful. Just when they thought they were going to equalise, a Chelsea counter attack and a wonderful goal. Oh how we laughed.

Think that was the only time I heard “Claudio Ranieri’s Blue and White Army” being sung.

However memories do not really help us get over losing today.
