Looks like Arsenal game is going to be called off. Fucking tits, first away European game in 25 years and they rush the turnstiles and trash the bars.

Already defending his job too, claiming he showed the team a video 8 times of Gomez cutting inside onto his right foot and shooting, only for them to concede that second goal.
Moyes in.

Fuck him off by the weekend then get Unsworth(who's doing a cracking job with the youth team) in til Christmas...
In the meantime I'd sound out Ranieri and Tuschel and prep them for Jan if Unsworth isn't up to cop

It was fucking mental cycling up Holloway Road around 7. Helicopters, riot vans, road closures. Thousands of drunk Germans. Not surprised it was delayed

Arsenal fans moaning about being invaded by germans who have been sold tickets and are doing nothing wrong. This isn't a new thing. Seems like Arsenal had 5,000 people register interest in membership from cologne a few weeks before the teams were due to play and no one twigged.
Not even when there are 20,000 germans in london on match day with 2,900 allocated tickets. Good on em i say, Aresnal fans need to HTFU.

Er, it was the trashing of the bars in the away end and the fighting stewards and police that was the problem...not the sale of home tickets to away fans.
For what it's worth, it's pretty edgy in the ground right now. The police allowed it to go ahead to avoid more tussles if it was cancelled.
Sure, it didn't come to anything but it's not a case of arsenal fans htfu.

UEFA are fucking hopeless...there was 20,000 Evertonians in Nurnberg few years back
The official 4,000 sold out in hours then all the others bought tickets online through the Nurnberg website(myself included) and sat in their end

Maybe England will get banned from the world cup?
fingers crossed. -

There will be heavy disciplinary action against Arsenal after this and rightly so. Hopefully it won't affect other English teams.

Good to see an atmosphere at the Emirates at least.

I think Arsenal will be in trouble for ticketing and Köln will be in trouble for the group of fans rushing the turnstiles and kicking off with officials. They really tore up the away end bars before kickoff.
I was surprised the match went ahead last night but it seems to have been the right decision.
The Köln fans were mostly pretty decent. I only saw one small scuffle due to intermingling fans.
Looking forward to the away leg. Funnily enough, I've booked my flights but don't have tickets yet.

I suspect that the ticketing will be very tight for the return game.
Mind you, not so worried about getting a ticket for the Chelsea away game at Arsenal. I'll just turn up and I'm sure tey will just let me in.

Segregation means that the trashing of the bar at the away end really has no impact on the home supporters other than being something to moan about. What was I saying.. It's just away end banter. Have you never seen a toilet kicked in or a toilet built like a tank that can't be kicked in..
Nice touch from Wiltshire to set up the third. See Theo will claim a couple of assists, a cross that deflected back to the player he was ignoring and smashing a shot straight at the keeper that the right back put away. Quality.

The majority of Koln fans were in the areas reserved (i.e. they don't sell season tickets there) for expansion of the away end for cup games. These seats are sold game by game so I can't see how the club can't be at fault for letting them go to Koln fans. Should get a fine and a telling off for that but there was precious little actual trouble other than a few of them getting arsey with stewards and some heavy handed policing.
We were totally outnumbered in the Clock End upper but it was fine. Their fans were lively but pretty respectful and anyway, it adds a little excitement when the fans you're giving/getting grief from are 3 seats away with no stewards or police anywhere around.

Uefa charges:
Cologne
• Crowd disturbances
• Setting off fireworks
• Throwing of objects
• Acts of damageArsenal
• Stairways blocked in away supporters sector
Arsenal Kickoff delayed an hour. Everton quite clearly are pro-Brexit.
