I really don't understand why they kept Wenger on. I know they probably didn't want him to end on the low of last season, and he clearly didn't want to go, but this 'off-season' when they're not in the CL and have the time to rebuild seems like it would have done them a lot of good, as it seems to have for Mourinho at United. Instead they could end up slipping out of the top 6, losing all their decent players and struggling even more to attract players next season.

Interesting to see Thierry Henry weighing in with the criticism, 'life is too easy at Arsenal', 'everything is too nice', happy with mediocrity, no fire in their bellies...
