Funny i bumped into some grown men in spurs shirts on the A1 services near nottingham about an hour ago. I assumed they were heading to burnley but it's at wembley init.
@badboybjorn As a professional who has all the time in the world to practise it's pretty stupid imo. His body shape telegraphs which side he's going to and the three that were saved were no were near the corner. It's embarrassing and Jose isn't going to be letting someone with a 50% conversion rate take pens for very long.

Peak Arsenal

Arsenal players doing a very good job of pushing the manager out, like Chelsea with Mourinho and Leicester with Ranieri

Arsenal have been dire today.
@Pistanator why did koeman not start the young lad up top today as soon as he came on it offered Everton so much more.Sanchez to city then

Arsenal are woeful. I really don't see what the game plan is. There is nothing to them whatsoever

Million dollar question. Calvert Lewin has been decent in his last 4 games...Sandro is unfit and hasn't played since pre-season against Sevilla
Some of Koeman's tactics and decision making are worse than Moyes
He's also gotta stop this 5 at the back shite too

Utter wank Arsenal, Sanchez and the Ox off to better clubs this week.

Two more years of this, better get used to it.

The Arsenal decline has been coming for a few years, but some big names out of contract, no CL to attract the stars, no apparent recognition by Wenger as to their shortcomings or how to solve them...
The big football wheel is turning
-
• #137789
Can't argue with that, his blindness to the team's shortcomings has been apparent for getting on for ten years, but he's managed to get CL football throughout which has kept most of the crowd quiet.
He should've quit last year, his legacy would've been less tarnished than it will be now.

Grown men from the suburbs saying "my ends"...

Yep, empires tend to collapse gradually, not overnight
Arsenal are finished under Wenger - and have been for a fair few years now.A few FA Cups are really not all that when you've been used to winning leagues and making Champions League finals.
They are the one team above us last season that we can genuinely overtake.

Good day for Liverpool, four attackers on the pitch over the course of the game and each one of them scored today.
Probably says more about the Arse than them though.
I really don't understand why they kept Wenger on. I know they probably didn't want him to end on the low of last season, and he clearly didn't want to go, but this 'off-season' when they're not in the CL and have the time to rebuild seems like it would have done them a lot of good, as it seems to have for Mourinho at United. Instead they could end up slipping out of the top 6, losing all their decent players and struggling even more to attract players next season.

Interesting to see Thierry Henry weighing in with the criticism, 'life is too easy at Arsenal', 'everything is too nice', happy with mediocrity, no fire in their bellies...
Good win for us, firing on all cylinders and no Hazard or Costa on the pitch... Willian was sensational, Pedro looked dangerous every time he got near the box, very happy... Wonder what business we have left to do, still talk of The Ox, Barkley, Drinkwater and Llorente coming in...

• #137795
So with Arsenal finished and Tottenham certainly suffering a Wembley hoodoo the race for the top 4 should be as interesting as last year.
-
• #137796
you will miss sanchez but the ox is one of the reasons arsenal are in decline. you cant keep hoping these players will one day turn good.
-
• #137797
yep. even we stand a chance this year thanks to the mismanagement going on elsewhere. i expect liverpool to implode on a two weekly cycle

Oxlaide Chamberlain has 'the Barkley's' about him
Thinks he's better and worth more than what he is and is being badly advised
When Barkley turned 18 his first pro contract was £35k a week. He signed a contract a year later for £75k a week then we put £100k a week on the table for him back in Feb - he refused to sign and is holding out for £125k. No-one is going to pay him that
The Ox wants £200k a week! Yet more proof if needed that all footballers are cunts!

We were pathetic yesterday...a better team would've beaten you as you weren't all that.
Willian best player on the pitch by a country mile
Clearly, men who have lost bets, but are MAN enough to pay the forfeit.
