  • England looked shot.

  • looked/should be...

  • Admit it, you still need him.

  • I'll be at a hospital appointment while Wednesday's match is on... Thank fuck...

  • draw is good for england

    Draw is good for USA.

  • ^ ha!

  • Rooney complaining about the fans booing! ha! Boo-hoo you multi-millionaire bastard.

  • flat play, shit, unimaginative managment.

  • Maybe the fan's expectations are too high for a mediocre team like England?

  • Maybe the fans expectations are too high for a mediocre team like England?

Absolutely right (apart from the punctuation).

  • my expectations were low. but not that low...

  • promised myself i wouldn't watch.

    caved.

    regretted it massively.

    walked away.

    came back.

    regretted it more.

i had genuinely low expectations and once again england manage to plumb hitherto unimagined depths of awfulness.

    epic lumpen crapness.

found myself willing them to lose so it could just all be over.

    really.

  • Maybe the fan's expectations are too high for a mediocre team like England?

Down to one fan now then?

  • I liked it. They had spunk.....no wait, different thread.....

  • Oh well, at least the agony will be over next Wednesday and then we can enjoy the World Cup.

Funnily enough, I think we will win next week and scrape through. Believe it or not. Capello pretty much conceded in the post match interview that he needs to look at his tactics.

  • Turning into an interesting world cup despite englands habitual failure to impress, play well, or play as a team. No urgency or desire, too many players taking the easy option of passing it back or square rather than being progressive, and forward thinking. Once again it's last game do or die and if capello had been braver and forced his players to be braver it might not have been required.
Might as well start promoting the under 21's, lampard, gerrard, terry, have proven once again that playing well in the premiership and champions league doesn't meant you'll be any good when it comes to England.
And am I the only one that feels on these performances that rooney is a long way from being one of the best players in the world. First touch was poor, mentally had checked out before the end of the first half.
Told you we needed a harder group to keep us in our toes.
Anyway off to ride into downtown miami...

  • ^ Flash cunt...

  • Anyway off to ride into downtown miami...

    Show off!

  • Draw is good for USA.

    nice.

Bear in mind that I was thinking that maybe england arent the dead cert to win against Algeria and Slovenia that everyone seems/seemed to think, and that we might have to consider the other teams points.

  • It really annoys me that I get annoyed by England........so much promise from Capello in the qualifying then the fuckers just serve up a load of shite when it matters. Is it really that hard to pass a ball 10 yards in a straight line? I never want to see Glen Johnson in an England shirt again

I agree with you on this one, there are too many 'characters' in the team. You could see the tension between lampard and gerrard. Going back to selection, they should have kept adam johnson and walcott in the squad to inject some youth. Players under pressure (i.e. with 'better' teamates around them) tend to play with greater urgency. To be honest i didn't really see barry play well and gerrards definately not a left winger.

  • They are all a bunch of complete fannies who couldn't wipe their own arses... Not a single man amongst them*... Where's the fucking passion FFS? Is there any fire left in those overfed, pampered bellies?

    • Apart from JT, natch...
  • "The problem with the english is their passion" Terry Henry.

No one played well but..... Shaun wright-phillips, why why why

  • "The problem with the english is their passion" Terry Henry

Any relation to Thierry Henry? ;]
Got a great Henry bum-sex story...
