entitlement and the arrogance which seems a new chapter in Cleats development
Er. More like he needs an editor, he's been like this forever.....

Arrogance maybe but being accused of entitlement by a "next season is our season" armchair plastic is name calling too far.
Anyway, if we do screw up the title, it will mean that Tottenham win the league and surely no one wants that. If we screw up the Cup it means that Wenger goes out as a winner, again, not something that anyone can really desire (and not something that, it would seem, many Arsenal supporters want).
So all to play for. Six games remain in the league and one in the Cup. It is in our hands. Fingers very crossed.
Given that, at the beginning of the season, when we were languishing in eighth place, everyone had dismissed our chances of even qualifying for the Europa let alone the Champions League, this has been a decent turn around. Silverwear would be the cherry on the icing on the cake.

I'd like Wenger to finish his Arsenal career with a win. He's been a fantastic servant to the club and to English football.

He'll stay until he dies if this is the criteria; every time he wins something, that'll convince him to stay on for another two years.
-
• #135731
That's not his fault - that's shit management at board level.

David Squires on form again. Wenger doing a Messi and the West Ham teenage fanclub all included.

Still a way off.
Chelsea need one point to beat Liverpool and Arsenal, four to be ManU and five to beat ManC.
Tottenham, accordingly, still need eight points to beat Arsenal.
As an aside, yesterday Chelsea joined Man United in qualifying for next season's Europa League. One more point would see qualification for the Champions League.

Arrests made by HMRC in England and France and raids of Newcastle and West Ham.
Common factors between the two sides include Allardyce and Pardew although it is not clear that either is involved. It would be nice if "Lady" Brady is involved.

Just waiting for him to go the full Kevin Keegan.

Still a way off.
Depends on tonight. The gap is 14 points now with Arsenal having 7 games to play. If Spurs win and Arsenal lose tonight it's a 17 point gap with only 6 games to go for Arsenal, the next one being the Norf Lunnun Derby on Sunday.

Random fact I noticed today: Chelsea haven't kept a clean sheet (in the league) since Jan 22nd against Hull at home.

It's because we are a defensive side and never attack.

Joey Barton suspended for 18 months. Career over pretty much.

Just overheard in office:
'Joey Barton's been banned for 18 months.'
'Dolly Parton - what'd she do?'
'Joey Barton.'
'Who's he?'
I hate sitting near the IT gimps.

Jolene Barton
I hear she can play a number of different positions on the pitch, anywhere from 9-5.

I played him at Poker at about 3am in a Liverpool casino in about 2007. He was really really shit. Folded pocket 7s (to little or no raise) and then a 7 came on the flop. He was so angry he had to leave and calm himself in the toilet.

" calm himself "
euph ? for any manner of things
It's the entitlement and the arrogance which seems a new chapter in Cleats development. It would be the best thing if they fucked up this title. On a par with Labour winning the election. But alas, equally unlikely :(
