I'm getting a bit bored of us conceding highly dubious last minute goals to Arsenal. If we ever get a linesman who knows what offside is we'll get a result against them I reckon.

Another win, another clean sheet.
Could easily have been a draw and Hull arguably should have had a penalty.Hull played far better than I expected them to. Pressure, neat passing, disciplined and seemed to have a game plan and actually stick to it.
Hope that Ryan Mason makes a full and speedy recovery.

Just caught up on the match, Hull played really well esp in the 2nd half, was Glad when Pedro went off his deliveries at corners and free kicks yesterday was awful.
It was good to win and to take advantage of all the other bedwetting that went on, was nearly a perfect weekend for Chelsea.Echo your thoughts on Ryan Mason, fractured skull :(

I knew Hull would be a tough game, great result for us... Let's see how we get on against the 'big boys'...

Yep disgusting stuff. So blatantly biased.
In the season of the bedwetter Liverpool are leading the way. As expected

claudio bravo's stats are quite amusing

In general we do pretty shit against the 'big boys ' but it appears that this strategy is paying off. We've lost against Liverpool, Arsenal and Spuds. We got a couple of lucky wins against the mancs.

The injury to Ryan Mason took all the wind out of that game. The atmosphere was really subdued by it. What would otherwise have been a marvellous weekend for football was made less so.
Let's hope he makes a full and swift recovery. Also hope that Gary Cahill does not suffer any consequences of the hit to his head.

Football really has a way to go dealing with head injuries compared to sports like rugby. There were a few clashes of heads over the weekend where the players seemed dazed for a while but then still carried on with fairly minimal assessment.

A much more painful incident occurred at the Baggies v Sunderland game.
Sunderlands Jason Denayer received a vicious ball to the nether regions from a point blank hoof from Claudio Yacob just before 80 mins. Immediately in agony, the trainer was rushed on. He didn't seem massively keen to 'rub it better' so proceeded 6 minutes of stoppage time whilst he crawled towards the far touchline. A slow and agonising hobble around the pitch ensued to the tune of "where have they gone? where've ya balls gone?".
Football really has a way to go dealing with testicle injuries.

Now I'm not saying that this is a biased match report but it's recurring themes are how full of class Wenger is and how the referees are all against Arsenal because they're too nice ...
https://shewore.com/2017/01/24/arsene-wenger-sent-off-for-standing-up-to-thuggish-burnley/It's a pretty entertaining read.

Death Knell for Sunderland
It's decisions like that which make me turn more and more away from watching The Premier League.
The refs have been shit and biased for years and it's getting worse
