What, dodging £30m players that cost £1.5m?
🤔

Getting all excited and fizzy cocked about paying double what Yannick Bolasie and Ashley Williams are "worth".

Indeed. Following marches on BBC text updates is so old-skool thrilling.
Can't believe they even region lock BBC west midlands radio.

is worth it for the vizualisation of different stuff.

I find the whole thing where football fans brag about how much opposition overpaid/they underpaid utterly bizarre.
Except when Chelsea buy back David Luiz, obviously. But that's not funny because they overpaid, it's just funny because; Chelsea.

I find it's the new bragging thing, but really what gets on my tits about transfer window is how it's nearly always:
"we're going to land this guy, anyone got any info?"
"yeah, i watch a bit of bundesliga on itv4 and he seems alright"
"great! we've signed a world beater. and yannick bolasie for 25 million! happy days are here!" -

6 months later:
"who's this soft cock we've signed? he's rubbish!" -

This transfer window has seen most players cost over the odds compared to their worth on that site. Luiz, Pogba, Anya, Slimani etc... all have a worth value far below what was paid for them.
Sheffield Weds paid more than 5x the worth of Adam Reach.
In other words it means fuck all.

If you look at it outside of the EPL then it's pretty accurate - so I would say that the players values on Transfermarkt are representative of their real world value.
Bayern Munich signed Mats Hummels for £30m and Renato Sanches for £30m (with hefty potential bonus) Chelsea paid more for David Luiz and spurs paid the same amount for Moussa Sissoko.
Barcelona bought the dutch national team GK, French international LB, French international CB, Spanish international ST and Portuguese international MD for £5m more than Paul Pogba

From one of my favourite players.
“For my game to be better, I need to be surrounded by better players than me. My game is not to have one great action. My game is to be consistent throughout: to bring the ball in the best and quickest possible way for the best players to make the last action. I know what my strengths and weaknesses are on the pitch. My duty is to be risk averse.”

Great quote. I use plus1hd and it costs like £6 per month, all matches and all HD streams plus loads of other sport.
Doesn't work on iphone or ipad though annoyingly

Agreed. I meant that TV money was making Prem teams pay over the odds.
