Fair enough, I'd figured him a little bit more 'mobile'!

As a salad dodgin' scot, I'm excited to see one of us go abroad to ply their trade. Between him and Gauld at Sporting, it'll be interesting to track their progress!

That's not what the guy who was there said

Another excellent transfer window so far from Burnley. We've signed one central midfielder to replace the two first team midfielders we've lost from last season plus a wide midfielder from relegated Charlton.
We ended Saturday's match against Chelsea with a centre half and an 18 year old, who's just made his debut, in central midfield.

I'll wait until the ink is dry but i'd be happy with both of those...

I've always rated Chadli. Good signing if you ask me. Considering Pochettino's comments with not having any width and subsequently selling the one bench player he has that can fulfil that role you'd hope that they have someone lined up that's better than them.

Difficult to say, £13m for a teenager from the Championship who had only made 13 starts is still a lot of money , but he does have a lot of potential. Hopefully we negotiated a nice sell-on clause, but I doubt Fawaz even knows what one is. Very surprised to see him join RB Leipzig though, but it's probably a good move for him and his style of play will suit German football.

RB Leipzig are cunts, that's my thought.

• #130236
That's true.

Southampton sign Boufal - that's Mane and Wanyama replaced then
-
• #130238
Tasty signing that.
Has Arsene panicked yet?
-
• #130239
So we'll see him in a Liverpool kit within 2 years then

• #130240
Cannot believe we sold Chaldli. We'll regret that. Especially with champions league etc and with us already looking devoid of any width.
-
• #130241
Hojberg and Boufal to replace Wanyama and Mane is pretty going
Mustafi and Perez to be announced tomorrow
-
• #130242
Yeah, I really don't get it. You're not going to get Zaha for anything less than £30m and with 2 days late seems like a bit of a nuts one.

Old head and shoulders is off to Torino

Chelsea signing Marcelo Brozovic, which surely means the end for Cesc...

So the Klopp Out movement has started.........
They let it happen with Rafa, by buying into the media disrespect of the man and even calling him the FSW. We are beyond lucky to have Klopp, yet the idiots of today's football will be calling talkshite airing their nonsense soon enough.
I feel like I near done with football in its current guise. -

U beat me to it, so pleased for Moses good pro. He has never winged or moaned about loan deals and always put 100% in to the clubs he was at. Still only 25 , which surprised me.
Pisti aint buyin that....

Rumours putting us in for loan/buy deal for Isco, would be amazing if true. Right kind of player to put pressure on Eriksen and to unlock defenses when they sit deep against us, plus he's young enough to grow with the rest of the squad if we keep it together..
Chadli going is disappointing, he'll pop up with a goal or ten during the season, with us trying to get nkoudou (think this gets done before the deadline) and looking at zaha think Chadli's lack of pace was held against him, think we're looking for a flyer to chase balls over the top or make that break from deep with pace, which currently only Dele can do, as Lamela, and Eriksen aren't blessed in the speed department..Liverpool match started brightly then got pushed back... Better start to the season than last year, but man city, Chelsea and man united look much better than I'd thought they would after the managerial turnover...

which currently only Dele can do
and yet, we continue to play him bang in the middle of midfield. I don't understand this approach. His pace counts for nothing in the middle of the park and he's too much of a liability out of possession. See also - Hodgson in the Euros.
Also - Lamela is fairly quick. It's pretty much his only redeeming feature.

Either of those buys would be good - but why can't we get business done earlier in the window ffs?
Irrelevant how many were offered, away end was a third empty. From experience, it's only 2.4k capacity
