  • all your football passions rolled up on one game H

  • Bilbao vs Sevilla and BVB vs Liverpool. Can't wait.

  • Excellent stuff. Should be a fanatastic game

  • The footballing Gods have brought the tie forward, will they out genga the genger'ers

  • So some knobs go to football...whodathunk.

I'm off to be a football wanker at Dulwich Hamlet tomorrow. If anyone else is going I'll be the one pissing in a glass while unfurling a banner while punching someone. stop by and say hi.

Boro are playing hull tonight, feels like our most important game of the season...if we lose we be in real trouble.

  • It had better be locally sourced, craft piss... and the banner had better have something about Jeremy Corbyn on it..

I might be there tomorrow - I will be one of the 25-35 year old white guys wearing pinrolled jeans, trainers and sunglasses. You can't miss me.

  • shit, I was planning on wearing that.

    I'll try to say hello.

  • we could get you a wheelchair?

  • If you turn up in a chair can I use you to push to the front of the bar queue please?

  • this was my plan...

  • That's better than the Sheriff or Master P.

    Not sure it'll stick though.

  • medicinal beer for your gout?

  • You're a raspberry? Have you got a blue card?

  • two years ago I adopted a chelsea true blue pensioner. Lived in Lambeth his whole life, through the blitz too. I surprised him with a trip to Ronny Scotts, staff made a proper fuss, band even got the audience to sing happy birthday for him, he's as old as Jazz itself and still talks about that evening in Soho. His second love is Chelsea Football Club, I'd like to surprise him again with a trip to Stamford Bridge, I know the season is almost over, he'll be 92 this summer. If anyone can source him a ticket, I'd sort out the rest. He's been wheelchair bound for nearly 10 years, with no family to call on. He ribs me for being a Gooner, but our shared love of Jazz and football keeps his spirits up, he is still as bright as a button.

  • Sounds like he would need a ticket to the wheelchair access area, tougher to organise than a normal ticket. I would ask a few people who have season tickets but none of them have wheelchair access. Maybe contact Chelsea on 020 7915 1950 / disability@chelseafc.com (disabled members and tickets number) and try and wrangle one that way. They only give tickets to members but membership is cheap, tickets are allocated on a rota normally though.

  • Thanks Airhead, I'll give them a call and see if they can assist.
It's on his bucket list, I'm sure we'll get him something, even if it not first team / premier league fixture. Just the experience for him to be somewhere special for an afternoon.

  • Not quite the same but Chelsea are in the semis of the FA youth cup which will be played at Stamford Bridge sometime in the next month or so.

  • An easy to organise day out for Chelsea fans is a tour of the ground. You'd have to check disabled access but it's an interesting tour for fans, you get to see a bit of the behind the scenes stuff, club history etc.

Doesn't take long to cover the history bit obvs.
