there is a lot of serious rumour floating about.
I fucking hope not.
-
• #123578
What would employing Mourinho achieve?
-
• #123579
Winning the league for starters. Give the journos to write something about.
-
• #123580
2 and a half Deli Ali's
-
• #123581
And the likelihood of that is?
-
• #123583
If his previous record of completed seasons is anything to go by than he has a 70% chance of winning it. Most likely he'll win it in his second season.
-
• #123584
Bit harsh don't you think?
He'd never wear red chinos.

I thought they always had a kit design that went well with jeans?
He can do jeans, Rapha ones of course, one leg rolled up, perhaps with a retro musette.

Would anyone bet against Mourinho winning a league title should he end up at united? I wouldn't. The PL is all over the shop and Jose loves an empty chequebook.
-
• #123588
Even an alchemist like Mourinho can't turn shit into gold.
-
• #123589
If he was going to United, he'd be at United.

• #123590
(famous last words)
-
• #123591
United would be mental not to sack LvG and get Mourinho in. Granted, he might not be their ideal candidate, but he might be the only one who can halt the Liverpool-esque slide into mediocrity...
-
• #123592
LvG is a fucking fraud. Couldn't manage his way out of a bag with a sideways opening.
-
• #123593
LvG has already installed an anti-football philosophy at OT. Mourinho's job is already half done. If he can concentrate solely on winding up the FA and slowly alienating his squad then I predict his first two seasons will be very successful.

• #123594
That's a bit disingenuous, no? Wickham elbowed him in the face, not the knee.
-
• #123595
If Wickham doesn't elbow him in the face, he doesn't go down in a heap and doesn't damage his MCL.
-
• #123596
Excellent. All the shite back in one basket again
-
• #123597
We've no proof that the elbow caused the knee injury.
Clearly Vertongen needs to work on his collapsing in a heap technique.
-
• #123598
Calm down, calm down.

BREAKING: Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Emmanuel Adebayor.Good luck with that..

Lol.
@cmburns, read the same reports, the Sheriff respecting Townsend's attitude after he was frozen out, training/playing with the U21's, so interceded to get him a chance at another club, for a reasonable price.
Also was thinking is £12m such a large fee for Townsend? England international, pacy, impactful (when he got his run with QPR), still young (so presumably has a bright future ahead of him, or a profit to be made if he succeeds).
More worried about the injury to verts and defensive options, and the lack of movement over a second striker, hoping Jan's injury means it puts the fear in them about Kane's wellbeing, and what life would be like without him, so they buy the striker we all think we need...
