Oh no. That is awful news.
Although we, as a community, have been guilty of similar things. With Emma Way and the coked up micro cock dude.

Just seen Brendan Rogers walking along Shaftbury Avenue.
Alone?

Well, that really is a long and true story about the internet, blogs etc with a sad ending.
An awful addiction that can lead to disgrace.
He amused so many people for so long and no one of us now is able to help him. -
• #120756

• #120757

Overreaction much? There's no way he deserves to get fired for venting his frustrations after a match. These things are forgotten soon enough.
Irony levels through the roof here.
-
• #120761
That's outrageous, that cunt Boris Johnson has said far worse things about Liverpool in his time but is lining himself up as the next PM.
-
• #120762
That's a huge overreaction. I wonder if it's in any part due to it being a US firm
-
• #120763
^^^Yeah, Clive, no matter how much you act gay afterward there is not forgiveness.
-
• #120764
Fucking political correctness gone mad, mate.
-
• #120765
Never heard of him...I do however know who Brendan RoDgers is
-
• #120766
Yeah - flippin' murican scum.
(not for realz, boss.)
-
• #120767
I wonder if it's more related to the driver on the wing stuff, which is a lot less funny than someone getting heated after a game.
-
• #120768
Is that for real? Fucking ridiculous if so. What actual harm has his rant done? Who actually gains from Clive losing his job? It's all just a pathetic over-reaction.
-
• #120769
That is grim.
The Driver on the Wing stuff is all very tongue in cheek.
-
• #120770
I demand my right to be outraged :(
It's the actual fucking headline on the standard website

Mr Cohen said: “This firm is special because the people who join Goldberg Segalla not only need to be excellent at whatever it is they do, but they must be better human beings than they are lawyers.
That's the first time I've heard a lawyer say such a thing.

I think you're sort of all missing the point. You just can't go round spouting shite about a whole City and group of people branding them 'scum'. I think people think it's 'OK though...those Scousers love a laugh'.
It's been going on for years in the media, every football ground and I've heard more derogatory anti-Scouse jokes over the years than I've had hot dinners.Change the word Scouse to 'black' and we'd all be up in arms...what gives?

From the ES comments:
Rocktour
I wonder how the press found out who he was? Someone has to have recognised him and shopped him, for reasons unknown/nefarious?mrs lopsided
indeed, nail on head, and the very fact that this 'news' rag seeks to recover this story means someones out to nobble him and is paying big bucks to do so. disgruntled monied former client perhapsIs this the conspiracy Clive has been going on about all this time? Has he done work for the FA?
-
• #120774
Clive's comments weren't racist in any way. They were chauvinistic and bigoted, in the broad sense of both words. Unfortunately most people don't know the context that Clive is a really nice guy. Not a surprise that a US law firm are ruthless cutthroats, but no doubt he'll get a job elsewhere in short order with his experience and reputation. The silver lining is that Mourinho still has a job, so it wasn't all in vain!

I don't think the likelyhood of things affects conspiracy theorists....
This guy will be next for the chop
