Wilshire out for the first three months of the season. Back to the drawing board or are they adequately covered for that position?
-
• #118304
8 weeks supposedly - should be well stocked in that position
-
• #118305
The short runny aroundy smoking fags tattooed midfielders?
Yeah. Arsenal seem overstocked there. -

With us having sorted out defensive business early and shipped out the majority of talented dead wood was hoping that we would have been as pro active in sorting the midfield and attack. Looks like it's going to be another deadline day transfer window for us.
It seems all quiet on the loris front so fingers crossed it stays that way, and the only good thing about looking to get hold of another striker/Attacking midfielder and/or defensive midfielder shouldn't unsettle us as much as an ongoing transfer tussle for one of our main players but the season starts on saturday!!!!!!Fracking sort it out Spurs braintrust!

The lower league Wayne Rooney is now in the PL. Expect to see him making a few established PL players look foolish, get a bit tired, mistime a tackle and get sent off. Sad to see him go.

Was that England's Joe Hart being put on his arse?
-
• #118309
yup, Tomlin made the MC defence look pretty poor that day.
-
• #118310
He's a bit like Andy Reid, but with actual skill.
So basically a porky footballer.
-
• #118311
And a bit nasty sometimes. So the perfect player.
He is good tho, as long as he doesn't get lost in the speed of the prem I think he'll do well.
-
• #118312
He's forever injured so Arsenal are used to him being unavailable.
Glass ankles.

You really pulled the 7 year old up?
SHAME ON YOU. -
• #118316
I wasn't to know. He was about your size.
-
• #118317
He must be tall for his age, I'm about the size of a 10 year old.

Baldini pays the price for not spending the Bale money wisely, and new guy from Southampton Paul Mitchell cements his position...

guardian posted this up, (natch) and was wondering what were the thoughts on their clubs strongest line ups.
http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/aug/06/chelsea-liverpool-premier-league-top-six
think some teams have more permutations than others, and looking at these team sheets you wonder where they're going to fit all the players in..
Issues I have with Tottenham's lineup is putting in Dembele who was seriously underwhelming for most of last season, and having Eriksen out on the wing, when he's so much better playing through the center..

It's all bollocks Corndog.
What looks strong on paper etc etc.
Schweinsteiger and Carrick may be strong, but they'll be pretty immobile I'm guessing.Who knows about Sterling? He may turn up.
It's the first fucking week.
The season will shake out around the back end of October/November. Chelsea will be out the blocks fast, as per. Someone else will be chasing, the title race will start settling into a rhythm by the back end of November. Liverpool will be out of the title contention.
There will be some craziness over Christmas, Jose will lose his shit about something or other.
The title race will stop being important around February. Someone will be in the relegation spot when they "shouldn't" be.
Big Cup.
Oh. Woah. It's March April already. Who's down? City are second or third.
The race is picking up.Over the line, it'll be 1,2,3 Chelsea, United, City (arrange to suit).
Arsenal will be 4th.
Liverpool 6th./Season ends.

Clintsmoker nailed it with the table. I just added words. -

Clintsmoker nailed it with the table. I just added words.I agree with Clintsmoker too
Whose in the two behind?
Herrera, schweinsteiner, Fellaini, Carrick?
Doesn't fellaini work better in a more advanced position?
