We've spent about £150M on exactly these kind of players inc Carroll, Adam & Lovren. Exactly how much profit has been made from sales of these players? How many of them would qualify as successes? [Henderson is the only one that comes close]. Also we seem to spend our summers battling for signatures that no one else wants, paying top dough for them while the teams we raid domestically get richer without falling back at all...
