MK Dons up to the Championship. Sad day for football fans all over the country.
Even more reason to hope we're out of it next year.

I just don't get how some players go out of their way to find reasons not to succeed. This is football. They are going to spend their entire careers at clubs with managers coming and going for a variety of reasons as well as players. They all know the score when it comes to loyalty etc. To let this effect your mentality to achieve success is unforgivable weakness on those wages. Brolly would have sat those lads down and told them he was going at the end of the season and they will have wished him luck and agreed to win the league for all their sakes. Like I said I can't really believe this as an excuse I just think it was good old fashioned bed wetting

Disagree. Steve really pushed everyone on. We kept will Hughes, we looked like we might actually believe, we got over the calamity of last season, we were doing really well, then Newcastle got all hot and sweaty, he got aroused. At a critical junction.
You're right they should be stronger, but he would have had a lot of people thinking he was the reason for the success. A bit like Dumbo's feather.

Seemed somehow fitting that Chelsea won the league with a goal from a dive.

I have a vision that Manure are going to wet the bed, Rooney will slip in the box and give away the winning goal on the last match while Ballotelli miraculously finds the net on Liverpool's last game, pushing them past Manure into 4th.

Well done Chelsea. Worthy champions.

About time a team won the league instead of having it handed it to them by other teams losing it. Well done Chelsea. Is it me or is the whole prem boring at the moment?

dicki, after Liverpool's magnificent performance beating QPR by a goal at home over the weekend, you must be full of confidence for this Sunday and next season.

Not at the bottom...
I wish everyone else would stop winning.

if ancelotti goes from madrid at the end of the season, would liverpool fans believe he is a step up from Rodgers? Would he be in the frame for the job if it became available?

my dear clive, as always, i remain confident about next season
as for the upcoming sporting confrontation i hope rodgers parks the bus and squeaks a 1-0 victory, sadly he doesn't know how to do that yet, maybe a summer camp coached by italian managers from the 1980's might help him in that respect
so i predict another season fizzling out, us getting the equivalent of the arse 4th place trophy the liverpool 5th place uefa cup spot
a football free summer and back with full vigour next august
come on you reds

• #117073
Football free? Are you not going to any preseason matches or the Community Shield?

And the Women's FA Cup Final at Wembley for the first time.

The Copa America is on over the summer, don't fret.
Steve is very fond of using certain agents and his skirt chasing days in Dutch brothels are quite notorious too. All on expense accounts with the then chairman too.
