Interesting. If 0-0 draws are evidence of a boring team, it is noteworthy that Liverpool have achieved five 0-0 results this season against Chelsea's two. If goals scored is the measure then Liverpool have managed 47 to Chelsea's 68. Only three of Chelsea's goals have been penalties.

Haters gonna hate. Chelsea's second half performance against Leicester is the style Chelsea fans have been cheering all season. There was a dip in form/entertainment without Costa as a front man but the counter attacking potential in the team is incredible, more goals would have come with a fit Costa.

Horrible day, I've never felt so tense at a football match until new of Derby's capitulation started coming through.

Feb 28th: Derby were 1st in the Championship on 65 points.
May 2nd: Derby finish 8th in the Championship on 77 pts.

There's going to be some very damp standard sized sheets in the East Midlands.

@Prole. at least our season lasted past September. Someone always drops out the playoff in the last day. Just a shame that Ipswich weren't that team today.

McClaren can fuck off to Newcastle now. It's clear from the player interviews after the match that the decision was made a long time ago and the whole mentality of the squad has changed since the rumours started.

Hopefully we'll get someone in who wants to take the team forwards. Dyche and Clement have been mentioned. Don't really want the Ginger Mourinho if I was given the choice. Clement is unproven on his own, but has worked well with Ancelotti over the years.
