Interesting that Raheem Sterling is 'worth' £63... L0L...
He's the new Theo Walcott...>
I wonder if there's a club out there muggy enough to pay us circa £50M?
-
• #113880
Ref in this derby is on the pay roll...

• #113881
I hate racists, too.

• #113882
Which ones are the fascist fucks? Real or Atletico with their Frente Atletico?
-
• #113883
Historically Atletico were leaning more towards the left end of the political spectrum.
-
• #113884
Bony to Citeh ffs. Does the guy have no ambition?
-
• #113885
If he had no ambition he'd be joining Spurs, shirley...
-
• #113886
Ambition to get paid.
-
• #113887
Jaw - So Atletico are the Tony Blair of the football world?
-
• #113888
I'd like to see Stevie G turn up on loan for a top Italian side. I think he'd do well there
-
• #113889
Going from a small but recently successful club to the reigning PL champions shows a lack of ambition? Really?
Or are you trolling @Manc_Ronnie?
-
• #113891
Or not.
As City don't have room in their financials to pay more than they let go. So Nastasic currently looks like leaving, freeing up around £75k but that's not guaranteed as Schalke are struggling to afford him. Sinclair earns £50k but Villa are struggling to afford him.
I guess they'll give him mad bonusses but I wouldn't wager a total barnstormer of a deal

No I'm not. Going to City is a stupid move for him - he's away for the next month at the cup of nations, and by the time he returns Aguero will be fully fit and banging goals in, leaving Bony to argue with Dzeko over who has to sit next to Lescott for the rest of the season.
Sure he will get a run out in cup games, and the occasional start in the league - but hardly amazing for his career trajectory is it? He's 26 and if he had gone somewhere like Liverpool, Spurs or Arsenal and banged in 30 goals a season for 2 years he could have earned himself a mega move to a big team where he would be top dog instead of just another bit part player.
Also - from a purely selfish point of view, I love watching him play - he's like a more technical version of Costa. That mix of technique and cruiser weight physicality is awesome, he's a machine.
-
• #113893
Liverpool would have been next year though.
-
• #113894
Bit harsh of you to assume he's going to be loaned to WBA.
-
• #113895
Ha - totally forgot he'd moved
-
• #113896
Yes I agree with this. He should be coming to Liverpool

Says Dan as he looks longingly in the mirror.

Ched to Oldham is off.

"A club director told BBC sports editor Dan Roan that a staff member was informed a named relative would be raped if the deal went ahead."
That's some irony right there.

if only

he'll go for the huge wage increase, ride the bench for a few seasons, getting run outs in cup matches and then find it difficult to get a transfer somewhere else because the next team in line won't be able to afford the wages which he's become accustomed to, and then will do a Demba Ba and head to Turkey or some such place that won't mind stumping up the cash for him...
On a Spurs related note, what's with the English tax on strikers, Berahino for £20m+ you're having a laugh right.
I think even less than 5 years. And if the sales get boycotted by chance, with a bit of astuteness in countertrend you can cover that figure in less of 1 year.
