  • Who in their right mind wants to talk to Colin?

  • Ad in other news, apparently the Kop faithful seem to think that Mario is now going to destroy the Bernabeu.

    Fucking hapless cretins.

  • Or watch Ed Sheeran?

He should be banned for that alone.

  • He had a shocker of a game. Totally in Warnock's pocket...

  • so much this

  • Wasn't that Moyes' excuse too?

  • Pipe down ;)

  • All 10 outfield players involved and a classic smash into the back of the net...

I like how this clip demonstrates how we set up all seven goals last night (maybe @bodieanddoyle can help with the commentary translation?)...

    So quite inefficient then?

  • We scored 5 goals last night. That's five times more efficient than your mob managed against Bournemouth. ;)

  • Bloody hell. Been away for a few days and on an internet blackout (roaming fees >>>>>) and we've been done over by fucking QPR. What a fucking shambles - since Lambert's new 4 year contract we've scored no goals and got no points. I blame Roy for shaving off his beard.

Really should have had min 4 points from Everton and QPR which would have seen us up in the right area. Can't believe after the decent start we've dropped so far so fast.

@Prole. - from pages back...re Grealish - he looks a great prospect and is a real talent. Lot's of calls for him to be given more game time than the odd 20 mins. He's got a lot of lumps kicked out of him so far, but at least offers a more creative outlet than anyone else is offering at the moment. I really hope that he will come through at Villa and not get sold off somewhere / go back out on loan.

  • Which was you favourite goal Rob? I can't decide between Dawkins' wonder strike or his back heel.

    #alsostillhigh

  • Both finishes were great. Not bad for a £500k signing from Spurs reserves, eh?

I was in the second row to the left of the goal so had a great view of both goals. The top corner finish was excellent, but I have to appreciate the efforts of Christie and Russell in the build up to his back heel.

If any of those goals were scored by the likes of Chelsea, Man United or Arsenal, then the media would be creaming themselves about them for days.

  • Fair point well made.

I'm just bitter about wasting my time & money. Again.

  • All 10 outfield players involved and a classic smash into the back of the net...

Nice. Like watching the invincibles, even got the same away kit.

  • Saw that. Tragic isn't it.

Probably said in passing during a press conference and then blown into an 'article' on a slow news day... but still.

  • But ours have helpful advice for anorexics on them, cleverly disguised as a sponsors logo

Yawwwn. Are you trying to fill the considerable area that Graham took up?

  • I wonder, will @cliveo just reuse last seasons weather report for the League Cup QF?

    #maggiethatcherspenis

  • He just texted, he is excited about being able to write about dwarfs again.

  • No. I just think it's hilarious that the fans have lost a goalscoring lunatic and now have a non-goalscoring lunatic to pin their hopes on.

  • another difficult fixture out of the way, struggled against brighton, Lamela showed he's coming along and another from Kane.
Lots of calls for Adebayor to make way for Kane to lead the line in the league. Maybe Adebayor needs to be dropped to up his game, seems to be just going through the motions.
Not sure Kane has the pace or strength to be played up front on his own, which would mean him and Soldado? moving to 442 and losing one of the holding midfield players.

Also thinking silverware over league position this year, should give all the cups a good go, win something get some confidence and then kick on with the league next season...
