Who was going to Dulwich Hamlet before it was cool?
-
• #111704
When did it become cool? I've been going off and on for the last 2 years - a mate is a season ticket holder. Season ticket is very lolz - laminated bit of sugar paper with his name printed on.

Going up - season first half
Going stable - season second half -

Can't wait to read Corny's description of that Lamela finish....
-
• #111707
Show pony. Why didn't he just wrap his right foot around it?
-
• #111708
dan, sometime you can take initiative and write what you have already saw and think to know about, without waiting and mentioning others. Just saying. You're gonna go up in points quicker.

Hey Marcom, thanks for your valuable contribution.

@dan, didn't see it in person, was brutalising "I Know You Got Soul" Eric B and Rakim version at Hip Hop Karaoke, but here's the vine to pull you out of your pessimistic spurs/football doldrums.
reminds me of the overhead that Trevor Sinclair smashes in from the edge of the box. Lamela gets so much power and accuracy on something which is usually just a last minute attempt to salvage something/anything from a ball which is too far away and on your wrong foot...
Feels like we're seeing something special emerging. Also think despite the quality of the opposition, maybe Kane deserves a chance to lead the line in the league. Top scorer and all...

I'd rather read what the Guardian finks, ta.

Meant to reply to Marcom. Turns out Corny had posted in between. Glorious serendipity.

Prole, I was being sarcastic with dan, he's posting so much and pushing others…not only Corny and TS…(It's not exactly pushing, right now I'm feeling moderate)
More an invite to be less diluted… In terms of confidence he has enough to sell it.
But in here on this thread he's not bad or too much, at least he can help to make others to talk more. -

Pochettino loved it...

Lamela still had quite a poor game (which explains MP's lack of reaction) - and two goals against some minnows isn't really going to change my opinion of him. Flat track bully / showboater.
Inclined to agree with you re: Kane though... Especially given the form of Soldado. He does need to play with Adebayor too (who put in a decent shift last night).

Thanks for the report card. You forgot "is not reaching his full potential"

• #111719
is lamela so one footed he had to take that on his left ?

'Flat track bully' - who coined this and where can I find them?

You're so miserable

Lamela's rabona? Big whoop. Wet Tuesday in Stoke.
It's a bit like Jose shaking hands with opposing managers before the whistle.
FUCKING CRUMBLE. -

You're welcome. "make it happen"

@dan, glad to see we agree on something (kane)
re: lamela, as I said didn't see the game, but read that the Pooch gave him a rocket a few minutes after the goal after he had the chance to play in Adebayor but didn't.
Know we paid a lot for him, and expectations are high, but I'm thinking of this as his first season, rather than last year, and he's shown enough willingness and skill to make me think there's alot more to come...
I'm going to watch Dulwich Hamlet play this Saturday. I will be shouting things like "break his legs" and "put your foot through it".
