I'm guessing Tenderloin hasn't been watching a lot of Championship football...
Championship quality maybe.

@Prole. @Markyboy you're both right I don't watch a whole lot of Championship football, other than the football league show but £8m for a 28 year old with almost no experience in a top flight league is a risk to base your attack around. It seems he is more than capable and liekly to prove me wrong.
Yup watching Arsenal at the Emirates is very similar to watching Norwich City vs Nottingham Forest - apart from the atmosphere at Arsenal is way better than the City ground

At 28 he's in the prime of his career. Surely as an Arsenal fan you'd recognise its wise to sign players at their pomp rather than selling them.

United and Everton to finish above Liverpool this year
Che?

Flop of the season looks like it will be fiercely contested. Lallana and Herrera going toe to toe, but it's early days.
Don't be soft. AL has been injured all season- so no real football since he finished at St Mary's. He simply needs time. (quoteme)

8 points out of Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal, Stoke and Man Utd...
You may as well chalk up the three you'll get from us....

Fuck sake. If LVG was Moyes he would have been run out of town. Well played Leicester, great performance can't take anything away from that fully deserved.
When LVG arrived I expected some next level shit, and today we were that, but just not in the way i expected.
So so fucking mouthy now....

Glad Pochettino is putting the boot into the Spurs team after that performance, threatened, but were sluggish and there for the taking throughout. Lamela at fault for the goal, let his man get goalside and jump uncontested. But he was one of the few bright sparks that we had.
Also that Pochettino is making sure that the players understand that blaming Europa League participation for the slump isn't going to carry any weight..Walked into a pub in kew for a piss during open house, to discover leicester 5-3 up on Man U, colour me surprised, shocked to say the least. And it is amusing to see Man U getting the rollercoaster press treatment, where every result is deemed do or die, if you win you're off to winning the league, if you lose the sky has fallen and the manager needs to be sacked. See Pardew at Newcastle for further evidence.
Anyway nice to see Pellegrini agreeing with me re: Chelsea's view of themselves.

Deflection tactic FAIL!!!

• #110871
Fark me how powerful and huge are the Chelsea and City lads. Got the right blend of power and guile. Straight fight to the death.

@>>>>>>
we played like shite and didn't deserve anything from the game, you on the other hand, were called out by the opposition manager who said to the media, what I've been saying on here since before you won the big european cup. That you play small against big teams, defending deep and looking to snatch a goal on the break. that's not a deflection tactic, that be the truth, ruth! Well until you start having a go at the big boys

Shit trolling is still shit.
In the world cup it was called beautiful counter attacking play and now you call it small team mentality?
Would you rather have is ping the ball around and get spanked because we left the barn door open? You play to win football games, not to entertain the neutrals or the opposition manager.

@cornelius_blackfoot We didn't play like that yesterday, do you even watch football, bro?
It was pretty much a toe-to-toe affair and if anyone was parking the bus it was Citeh... Their defence and midfield were practically impregnable in the first half... They made us look like a raggle-taggle bunch of dwarves, no way through...

In other good footballing news, Union Berlin registered their first win of the season today - which was also the first defeat of the season for shameless and disgusting advertising vehicle RB Leipzig.
http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/sep/22/rb-leipzig-germany-red-bull-fans
Great stuff:
“Today’s opponent embodies everything that we at Union don’t want from football”, it read. “A marketing product pushed by financial interests […], players with euro signs in their eyes […], supported by brainwashed consumers in the stands who have never heard anything of fan ownership”.
A banner inside the stadium stated: “Football needs workers’ participation, loyalty, standing terraces, emotion, financial fair play, tradition, transparency, passion, history, independence.”
Beat me to it. I'm guessing Tenderloin hasn't been watching a lot of Championship football...
Plus Nigel Pearson doesn't make mistakes in the transfer market.
Ulloa and Vardy will cause problems for a lot of teams this season.
Oh, and it's five in five games, not four.
