  • oh and 36 goals in 50 games for Sturridge

    #notverygood

  • Should we consider going in this direction?

We could then have sub forums. One for faux scousers to eulogise about Liverpool and another for normal civilised people to express their true feelings about Liverpool and the main thread where we talk about football and not about Liverpool.

  • and a sub forum for all the real football fans who support clubs outside of the Premier League.

  • Clive if you listen to the pundits, almost all agree that Chelsea have to win it this year otherwise it will be a failure and Moronio will have to go. Not a single pundit have Liverpool finishing in the top 2, some begrudgingly have us in the top 4. Amazingly, most seem to have United finishing above us. I can only think that recent history must have some bearing on this. Again. When does recent history become old enough to be proper history?

Jesus Mike, grade 1 trolling. Basic at best.

Abramovic won't get rid if Mourinho doesn't win this year (it's not as if there are many better options available currently..) - though Mourinho might go walkies of his own accord.

  • or... talk about your own club... something a lot of people here have trouble with

  • Would be a very boring thread if people actually did that

  • Is Clive back?
    Has the yentzing stopped?

Clive not sure if trolling, but one of the things I don't like about microcosm (may change my mind in future) but the ability to create smaller and smaller bits of the football thread seems to be self defeating, there aren't enough football bods willing to engage in the "bantz" to slice us into ever smaller portions would seem to lead to a thread where @dicki, @mikec, @Clever_Pun, @Multi_Grooves end up talking to themselves about the merits of liverpool, or @Pistanator spends his time tumbling around in an everton thread where he doesn't actually talk about everton.. or @cliveo and @jaw discussing the relative merits of mourinho's transfer policy, with no dissenting voices at all..
The interest comes from the friction between us, not the harmony, and wouldn't it be boring to only talk to those that agree with you?

  • You can all join me in the 'Boro forum if you like. All are welcome.

    Please....

  • Football must stay united and capitalised.

  • .

  • Sporting president has outdone himself with the Rojo transfer.

Nani with United subsidising 80-90% of his salary.

  • Sherwood now seems to be the frontrunner for the Palace job.

    Lol

  • Where are you getting that from?

  • @cliveo

That would put the football forum on the front page of LFGSS.
TNRC/WNKR makes it to the front page with a mere 22k posts.

  • Hold on, Nani has been at United for SEVEN YEARS? Fucking hell time flies when shit sticks.

  • Are you telling me that Ambro will tolerate another season with no silverware?

  • Slicing us ever smaller and smaller may be part of the grand plan.

  • We must resist, or get on with our day jobs...

  • Probably - if they come 2nd in the Prem and CL semi's. He didn't get all that money by being an idiot, he won't push Mourinho until there is someone better available - Hiddink isn't knocking about behind the scenes any more and every other decent manager is pretty much spoken for, for now.

It's more likely that Mourinho will set fire to his own house and flounce if he doesn't win anything this year. He won't be short of job offers.

  • He'll win something this year. Clive's back. The forum's changed. There are new rules being proposed. It has to happen.

  • Just as the prophecy predicted. On the second year, Lord Ferg will rise again and the Dutch imposter will at Newcastle before the moon is full.

    Or something.

  • I keep hearing about Ferguson and riot police. Is this something to do with SAF?
