Suarez scored about 30 goals. Liverpool's GD topped a ton....
Deffo no goals. I hope we stay up :-(

I hope you realise that GD means goal difference and not goals scored...
Your overall GD in all competitions last season was 55.
Man City had a goal difference of 65 just in the league and those sneaky bus parkers down the Kings road had a measly 44...

My error for using the wrong term. But the point still stands, lfc out scored most of the league inc arsenal without LS goals. The hysteria is just a little odd.

How many chevrons do you think Italian football requires?
(Reuters) – Italy’s dismal World Cup performance has added to the already depressing scenario of Serie A decline, falling attendances, racism, match-fixing and a failure to find new talent.
Yet, with an Italian federation (FIGC) presidential election looming on Monday, those pressing issues have been sidelined by the racism row involving Carlo Tavecchio, one of the two candidates for the position vacated by Giancarlo Abete.
Tavecchio was addressing the thorny subject of the lack of opportunities for young Italian players in the professional clubs when he described African footballers as “banana eaters” and referred to a fictitious player he named Opti Poba.
*edit * he won the vote to head Italian football over Dimitri Albertini.

Indeed.
If you believe everything said by spoof Twitter feeds.
He obviously confirms the rumour when he said:
Drogba’s night only lasted 28 minutes after the striker limped off
with an injury. He gave an update on his situation afterwards.‘I twisted my ankle and I couldn’t continue,’ the Ivorian explained.
‘In the next few days we are going to do some treatment and I hopeeverything will be better.

No it's not. Suarez is one of the best strikers in the world, so his presence in the team allows other players to take advantage of this, meaning they get goal scoring opportunities because defenders are focusing on what Suarez is doing.
Arsenal had this problem after Henry left, and am not sure they've solved it still.

Carlisle >>>>>>>>>>
Glad to hit the ground running and although it's only a League Cup match it was a dominant performance that should help the team get back to the momentum they ended the season with. Christie has looked good at right back so far and offers more attacking options than Wisdom did last season and Hughes is fitting in well in what wasn't thought to be a natural position for him as DM.

Arsenal had this problem after Henry left, and am not sure they've solved it still.Exactly, pretty much what I said a few pages back. I think Arsenal solved it with Van Persie, for a bit.. then sold him. He's not the same kind of player as Suarez or Henry though, and doesn't have the kind of impact on the whole game as those two because he rarely drops off or runs the channels — he's a classy finisher with a great first touch and lovely movement off the ball in the box.

Arsenal had this problem after Henry left, and am not sure they've solved it still.I'm currently fearful of soiling my sheets due to the gaping hole up front. I was into the idea of Bony but then I think about African Cup of Nations....Not sure whom or what else is out there.... Maybe a January signing?
Lets just see how we get on. The experts here say we're going to struggle and they are 100% correct. WE ARE DOOMED.

We defo haven't strengthened at the back, so we'll prob concede 65 this time.

And of course, after his long summer of rest and recovery and his retirement from international football in May, Gerrard can only be stronger and faster than he was.
Quoted.
