For £75million
Well handled by Liverpool for a change. No statement needed, just ship him off

Just think, you could get two Andy Carroll's with that cash.

Not bad at all, but the transfer fee is not £75m. It's €81m at today's rate that is £64m. Still a hell of a lot of money for an absolute clown of a human being. For a club that has always taken the moral high ground one way or another I quite can't believe how far they've sunk.

The key phrase is "thought to be worth £75m". That figure will be inflated for media purposes and it won't be all up front. You might get half a Carroll and a Downing and be able to buy the rest of Carroll after Count Suacula wins a trophy for the first time since he left Ajax.

Mess que un club.

They basically got rid of Fabregas and Sanchez to buy a player that's not going to feature until November. Mess que un club indeed.

So Liverpool have had to sell in order to spend? With £40m spent already it's gonna be a hell of a lot of fun seeing them spunk the remainder of that money.
Can seems a good value signing but they've paid CL and English tax on Lallana who has no sell on value at his age. Bless 'em...

But not quite 2 Mezit Ozils

Maybe you can now go and get Alexis Sanchez. Oh, wait...

Just playing with ya Mike. Your team has done really well to offload their best player to the only team desperate enough to take a nutcase like him.

How are Derbys preparations for their forthcoming return to the top flight coming along? Oh, wait.... >>>>>

Still building on it. Just waiting on a couple of transfers to push on this season.

And still the elephant in the room looms large. Especially with Puyol retired.

I so hope Liverpool get drawn in a Champions League group with Barca.
When is the draw? -

I've heard the Brazilian teams psychologist has been hired.

We don't all have a Swivel Eyed Loon as a benefactor ready to spunk cash on their next vanity purchase regardless of FFP rules

Another year of plugging the gaping hole with holding midfielders at CB looms.
I may go to the Bridge for the friendly against Real Sociedad next month, I can (just about) stomach £15 or £20 to get in...
Anyone else?
