You know my views on woy. Im the only albion fan i know who hated his football. Since he left not one albion player has criticised him which is unheard of. They all loved him.
He has done a half decent job at england but i cant see him delivering anything. We need a manager to sort out the mental frailties. Its a shame hoddle is a fuck wit but how about tony pulis. No, seriously. -

This forum is now an exceptionally sensitive place full of poor souls who are ready, waiting and primed to take offense on behalf of others at the slightest thing. Unfortunately this has now pervaded the football thread. You need to be very careful
LFGSS's own Nigel Farage/Richard Littlejohn.
"You can't say anything any more without being branded a racist. We're just saying what everyone is thinking. Hanging's too good for 'em..."

Goalie might have been flat footed but that free kick was virtually un-saveable anyway.

Greece only have one way to play and it relies on them scoring first. Upset that the Ivory Coast didn't make it through, but they were wasteful, and drogba did nothing, why no bony on from the start. Aurier looks a player, and kalou isn't the answer to any footballing question, what a waste of space he is...
Topsy turvy World Cup, with the Latin American teams in the ascendancy, all to do with the heat and the humidity?
They hit the woodwork three times, looked much potent on the break and more competent upstairs. Thoroughly deserved win. I'd be pissed as an Ivory Coast supporter as they have more than enough in their locker to brush aside Greece but poor management cost them.

hold on a minute fellas, suarez bit someone. a bit. it is wrong but give me that rather than some of the 80 mph studs up challenges.
just make sure you have taken your jabs
So much this. He's a cunt no doubt but compared to shin height, studs out challenges...The best thing to come out of this would be for FIFA/FA/(anyone) to use retrospective decisions for ALL SHIT HOUSE behaviour once and for all.

This is a great read...
Excellent, reaaallly long piece on ESPN about Luis's teenage playing career in Uruguay with added super WTF? detail about the incident with a referee and a headbutt and a journalist who tried to report it getting shot by a Suarez fan.

You fuckin what??!
*Uruguay captain Diego Lugano: "You saw this, really? You need to show me because I didn't see anything. Did you see it today or did you see what happened in other years. You couldn't have seen it today because nothing happened.
"The worst of everything is the attitude of Chiellini. He's a great player, with an enormous status. It doesn't correspond with Italian football. As sportsmen leaving the field, crying and appealing against a rival. As a man he disappointed me totally."

He must be a liverpool fan, no?

If Liverpool did fuck all he'd have acted up during the season been banned to shit and Cl places would have been tricky
He'll get an international ban, which might work in Liverpools favour as there's no other matches to get injured/tired from.
He's a fucking idiot though...
Fingers crossed a lengthy international ban will increase his value to any potential suitor (Madrid). They'd love to showcase hannibal and pepe in the same squad.
Anyone suggesting they his value has dropped is an idiot. The morals in football went with Joules Rimet.

Just think of how bad it could have been if Redknapp was the guy leading this lot out. Still think Hodgson's the right guy for now, and at the very least he's relatively likable.
...
Exactly what have you seen in Roy's career so far that makes you think he is the man to lead the revolution in the national team's play to a nice, quick, intelligent, controlling football???

This is a great read...
The "I can only follow my girlfriend to Europe by becoming an amazing football player and getting signed by a European team so I can then marry her, which I actually did by the way" sub-plot floored me.

^ The whole thing is bonkers...
Not a great half of football, France not looking as sharp as they did in their previous games... Ecuador could even nick it...
Can't believe I just typed that last statement... Kerrazy World Cup...
Incredibly unhappy in a shocking development... terrible manager.
