**[It wasn’t as if Suarez bit a child, say experts](http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sport-headlines/it-wasnt-as-if-suarez-bit-a-child-say-experts-2014062587976)** [25-06-14](http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sport-headlines/it-wasnt-as-if-suarez-bit-a-child-say-experts-2014062587976) [EXPERTS have stressed that Luis Suarez bit a large Italian footballer and not a tiny child.](http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sport-headlines/it-wasnt-as-if-suarez-bit-a-child-say-experts-2014062587976)
The Italian footballer, shortly before he died
With many calling for the Uruguayan striker to be jailed, doctors said Suarez’s victim had already made a full recovery, despite pretending to be dead.
Sports injury specialist, Dr Martin Bishop, said: “The key difference between biting an opponent and going in hard with your studs up is that biting them is much, much more interesting.
“The actual biting injury is usually pretty mild. Mr Suarez is a medium-sized Uruguayan, not a Sumatran tiger.”
Dr Bishop added: “If Mr Suarez had ran towards the crowd, grabbed a small child and bit it on the face, then yes, you want the police involved at that point.
“But, as far as I understand, Mr Suarez has no desire to bite infants. He just wants to bite large professional footballers. Preferably Italian.
“Despite what Alan Shearer may tell you, that’s perfectly normal.”
Meanwhile, many fans have welcomed the incident and called on Fifa to legalise biting on a trial basis.
Stephen Malley, from Peterborough, said: “There is something dark and primal about it which I find utterly irresistible.
“Give both teams 10 bites each. And it has to be below the waist.”From the daily mash

From a friend on fb
Dear English press and media, we are all quite aware that Luis Suarez is a tit. He's obviously a mentalist that continues to bring shame on himself, his club and his country and we all know that he should be punished accordingly. But, please don't let this completely overshadow the utter incompetence of Roy Hodgson and his bag o' shite England team. This fuckwit continually gets a free pass from the press, if it was any other manager (see Taylor, Hoddle, Keegan, McLaren etc) they would be publicly humiliated and shamed. Hodgson has managed to out do ALL of them with his poor team selections, clueless substitutions and school playground tactics and led a shambolic England team to their worst ever record at a World Cup finals but the press and the FA are standing by him!! Why? What is it with this owl-looking twat? If England genuinely want to move forward and compete at Euro 2016 and the next World Cup then now is the time to bin him and get someone else in. But, if they really wanna remain a shitty, two-bob pub team that can't even perform basic skills such as passing, control and keeping the ball then Roy's your man.
English football, the English media and Luis Suarez, yet again, a fucking disgrace. -

Just think of how bad it could have been if Redknapp was the guy leading this lot out. Still think Hodgson's the right guy for now, and at the very least he's relatively likable.
Also was thinking about this earlier with Lampard and Gerrard inevitably retiring from international duty and being the last of the whole 'Golden Generation' bollocks, what can we count through this time as a success? All I can think of was enjoying the 5-1 game and that time we beat Argentina in Switzerland. Depressing, really.

Let's have a quick poll of poeple who've had a club managed by Roy.
Liverpool fans - were you happy with him?
WBA fans - were you happy with him?
Fulham - Marco's gone. -

Where has Marco gone?

Roy has to be one of the worst managers England have had. We have had better success with most managers in the last decade.

I'd actually like to see Redknapp given a chance. He at least has experience of managing a fairly big team.
-
• #105790
Redknapp won't do it because there's no money involved. And because he enjoys success too much.
-
• #105791
Fuck no, glad he got fired so quickly.

Seriously?
How about, fuck off? -

Christ no. Glad he was booted out of LFC
Who to manage England? Who? Who?
A difficult question. Who would want to manage England?I think Hoddle done a very good job and was tactically aware. I don't think we have played better football since. But he was and clearly still is a fucking loon.
I have no idea who England should go for
-
• #105795
^^Thing is that he'd do a better job than Woy or Schteve..
-
• #105796
Why is it even a matter of debate?
Woy has two more years, two more years, two more years, etc. -
