Was that "hard man" Jake Buxton tripping over and failing to make a simple tackle?

Conclusion. If you're a Championship club with ambition to play in the PL you sign Bobby Zamora. He's worth his weight in gold, literally.

I beg to differ, I was at the Arsenal v Everton game the same day my daughter was born. Priorities, priorities....
Oh, and while I'm at it. You never had to leave London to get to the birth after the match. Travelling a few thousand miles each way is a bit more of a challenge time wise and on the purse strings.
We've had a better season than I expected when I booked the tickets (hence the glaring dates error) and I hope the team pushes on next season. We'll need to strengthen a couple of key areas that have been filled by loanees this season, but I'm sure Schteve has a plan in mind.
Night night all. Gotta be up for some family fun in a few hours, can't stay waiting for gifs to load all night. :)

Unfortunately so. It just goes to show it only takes one mistake in this game. Just ask Stevie G...

It was worth it.

That defender was totally unaware of Zamora during that entire clip. Bet he had his eyes closed too
-
• #103397
There is also a guy marking Zamora at the start of the clip who just ball watches ( Thorne?) and let's him slip into space. Primary school errors
-
• #103398
So three times as many errors as Stevie G?
-
• #103399
Gerrard obviously did not make an error but planned the whole thing out. Knowing that we'll eventually wet the bed anyway he wanted to take the pressure and guilt from his team so he took one for the team. True captain. lyk if maykes u crys evreetyme.

In fairness to Gerrard he slipped. He didn't pass the ball to a striker ( well he did against France in euro 2004 with 5 mins to go before giving away a free kick which turned a creditable 1-0 lead into a 1-2 defeat ) or close his eyes.
Next year will be yours
