But not everyone thinks girls on bikes are eye candy all the time. I get a bit lamed when a few comments start to tar us all with the same brush, I'd hazard plenty of us don't think girls on bikes are so very different from boys on bikes.. maybe I'm wrong

I agree, I know plenty boys are just as you say, and for that I am glad. (I didn't say 'all boys are morons'.)

It's the ones who aren't that are the problem and they need to be told. That was why I specified 'those who had posted negative or shallow comments'.
