great Xmas.Damn, wish I had one of those.
Got back from spending crimbo eve at the in-laws to discover we'd ran out of parafin oil, which powers our central heating. The whole house was freezing. Spent Christmas day wreaked with a stomach bug, out in the garden, chopping up logs.

you think thats bad, I burnt the coal to keep warm, then had to make my 17 siblings new clothes out of flour sacks, some of these were infected by the rats, so 4 sisters died from dysentery, then dad came back in from the gin palace and beat us all up

Bjorn that's totally shit. Hope it didn't put too much of a downer on the xmas period, did you call the police? fingerprints on the TV?
I got my laptop stolen from inside my house (there was no sign of forced entry) over the summer holidays. I think the guys upstairs who used our stairs to get to the flat must've taken it when they were leaving. It's a real bummer having your laptop nicked!

Well, at first I thought it didnt really affect me that much, but the more I thought about how hard he has worked for all his stuff, the more angry I got. I then got myself hammered in the spirit of christmas..
Police came by quick. Apparently there was another burglary close-by, so they were alert.
There was a good footprint at the backdoor, so we've been tracktracing in the snow like Hiawatha and actually think we got close at one point, but it didn't happen..
Some CI team will come by today to look for fingerprints etc.
Cunts.. -

aye its a fucking horrible feeling.
you feel violated- cos its your space, and some jackass has been climbing in your windows....happened here earlier in the year, through my bedroom window. I won't lie, I now sleep with a baseball bat near my bed.

When I was living in the UK a few years back, I'd crimbo'd with my parents in Plymouth.
Mrs Smallfurry was 8 1/2 months pregnant.
Came home to find the flat trashed and everything of value gone.
Various unanswered insurance quotes mixed into the mass of paper.
Photo equipment for Mrs Smallfurrys small business gone.Weird thing was that I did'nt really care at the time. I'd had a near miss with a sleeping driver on the motorway, with mrs+unborn child in the car, which had put things into perspective.
Hope you get some sort of closure Bjørn.

When my friend was a kid her parents had to hide there presents in the car to stop them finding them. Came down on christmas day to find someone had nicked the car with all its contents.

Right. I'm coming to your house when I have to wash my bike! (that means spring haha!) I'll bring the cleaner, I got that totally biodegradable stuff by the British guy.

I got a writing slope! I've wanted one of these for ages! Under the part closest to the camera is paper, under the back bit are envelopes, ink well should go to the right (have to measure & buy one that will fit) and should probably be nibs on the left but I'm using that for stamps. Such an awesome pressie! (that's a Parker "51" vacumatic)

Wish I had gotten her for Christmas...
I got a remote control helicopter, some albums, books, a Reiss hat, an All Saints jacket, some fancy toiletries, some marzipan and a multitool... Not a bad haul!
