Speaking of bourbon. Mate's birthday, would like to get him something decent and if not decent, at least quirky. Wanna spend a little more £ than the Beam, Makers, Woodford zone. Not actually much of an idea because I only tend to buy the same stuff for myself and don't know many bourbon drinkers over on this side of planet earth.

Blantons is OK but really I don't understand some of the price premiums attached to "small batch" bourbon as they are all pretty similar.

My sister and BIL are very knowledgeable bourbon drinkers and they were very pleasantly surprised when I introduced them to it. They loved it. I love it. Hits the quirky/obscure/unique brief and at a sensible price point.

This stuff is amazing and I have had a chance to speak 1:1 with some of the team there. They are doing good stuff.

If there were pics of something other than bumface that had the same effect I'd use those. :)

The MM 46 is really quite nice - definitely one to consider if the Balcones is off the list.

I'm not judging the contents, I'm just picking the one that "looks" like I spent the most money :)
